I stayed during the summer months in "The Meadows" complex. My hotel room was really a spare bedroom to someone's vacation condo. The room was adequate except it lacked air condioninig and had no wi-fi as advertised. Pros: Great area, access to lots of outdoor recreation opportunities. Cons: 1) Unnessary summer resort fee. What exactly did it pay for? Even... More

Kirkwood is one of the greatest mid-size ski areas, especially for better skiers. The Meadows, however, is an older project and shows it. Peeling floor covering, laughably inadequate kitchen equipment (an oven, but no baking pan...), weak heating system, no wifi in our unit, notwithstanding the representation to the contrary (wifi was fine in the lobby)... All of which would... More

Privately owned, so unless you know it is just luck. We have rented the same studio for years, 203 has an awesome view of the meadow, updated furniture, and a wall bed so we didn't look at a queen bed during the day. Bathroom not updated, but not a big deal. The meadows has on site hot tub, which most... More

I've stayed in several condo-type lodgings at various ski resorts, so I suppose I had certain expectations. Compared to other similar places I've stayed, I was disappointed in The Meadows. These are individually owned condo-rentals, so the quality may vary from unit to unit. We stayed in a one-bedroom. It was very small and the decor and furnishings were stained,... More

This overpriced, extremely cramped facility hires know-nothing front-desk workers, especially in off-season. They turn off the heat in early June and expect you to use a space heater to stay warm. Fitness Center was closed. No restaurants open in off-season. Try Caples Lake Resort, Kit Carson Lodge, or Sorensen's Resort instead. They even charged me "trip insurance" against my will!

Seriously, this hotel was the worst POS I have stayed in in a very long time. It was DISGUSTING! I am single bachelor described as a slob by my friends, family, and especially gfs. This place was hard to sleep in. What is going on at Kirkwood is that it was a small, local market focused community resort that just... More

I just got back from a spring skiing trip to Kirkwood and had the best time in great conditions and staying at the Meadows. Fantastic property, spa, hot tub, deck overlooking the mountain. remodelled, new, clean, comfortable studio apartment at very reasonable rates. Highly recommend!

Just spent the weekend and I have to say that for the money one shells out on the room you would expect them to be a little nicer. Maybe its because they are privately owned condos but still, the rooms were pretty shabby. I can't comment on the room service because the truth is that I really didn't deal with... More

I, unfortunately, have to agree with a lot of the negative comments made about this property. We booked a 2 bed/2 bath condo over the 4th of July weekend. When we first went into our room we found it to be dirty, with large stains in the carpet. The blinds were also mostly broken. I immediately called the front desk... More

Check in is not until 3:00 pm. Even though at noon the room was ready, but not yet "inspected", the desk clerk would not let us check in. Stupid. Returning at 5:15 no one was at the front desk because they had left for the day. We had to find our way to the building where the room was located.... More
