My wife and I booked early and were able to stay at Hotel Piano for two nights with breakfast and 2 days skiing for $392, which is a pretty amazing deal. However, I was not super impressed with the hotel. Pros: The powder skiing ranks in the top worldwide. Rooms are spacious. Staff is friendly and speaks pretty good English.... More

This resort was recommended to us by a Japanese tour agent friend of ours. We booked a half board package for this hotel which included ski pass as well and we strongly encourage this arrangement for best value. As with all the Japanese resorts (or anywhere else in Japan, for that matter), we've never experienced bad service or bad food.... More

Rooms were very dated and not very clean. There was also musky smell. But I guess we don't have any choice in Kiroro Ski. The main hotel was fully booked so this was the only hotel left. It was also rather far from the ski slopes and lifts. And it's expensive! For the good points: The rooms were spacious and... More

We stayed in Piano hotel in early Dec 2013. The rooms were big and clean. The onsen was good. The quality of the buffet restaurants in Piano and Mountain hotels and the japanese restaurants were good. There were many choices indeed. Highly recommended for families with kids for this hotel. Please try the snow shoe trekking. Thank you Brad. The... More

An average resort with the usual resort facilities and entertainment programs. Do not understand why guests are only allowed once into the onsen while the costs of dinner at the resort seemed high. Understand that resort food are usually on the high side, but it seemed much higher than the norm.

Stayed here for 3 days with family before moving on to Niseko. Choose the Piano over the Mountain Hotel and very glad I did as the Piano does seem that bit nicer, clamer and less manic. There is a frequent free shuttle bus that takes you from outside the Piano up to the Mountain resort to sort out ski hire,... More

Our first trip to a winter resort and we do have high expectation! Took a bus from Sapporo town and arrive at the hotel piano in usual Japanese clock work time. As it coincided with a public holiday in Japan, the check- in was very crowded and took a while. However the staff was very patient and explained in detail... More

I stayed here for 3 night with my husband and a 4 years old. Is a good place for stay for vacation with kids but it is not a luxury hotel and please don't expect too much service. We stayed in the Japanese Suite which is nice and big. Room is clean and comfy and the Tatami is really really... More
