At first we felt a bit out of place and nervous about the baths, but ended up really enjoying them. We stayed in a traditional room, and it was pretty comfortable, with a nice little sitting area to use when the beds were made up. The food was fine too. But really, the baths were the best part.

I have been to Noboribetsu many times and whilst do not stay in the hotel I have used the onsen on a day spa basis. The baths are nice and clean with excellent views but for me too modern and lack that traditional feeling. I stay in another hotel with, I feel, better baths.

We only checked in for one night. We got the traditional Japanese room in the main building with wifi. Dinner was buffet....it was okey. We had to leave early so we did not have breakfast both which were included in the room rate. The onsen was wonderful and supposedly good for various ailment like arthritis and high blood pressure. During... More

This hotel has THE best onsen in all of Noboribetsu. I have a large tattoo and was concerned I would be excluded from the onsen during our stay here. I didn't have any problems at all, and also saw another foreigner sporting a tattoo too. As with most budget big hotels I've been to in Japan the decor is a... More

Stayed for a night in this huge onsen resort. 7 types of onsen with a full view of the hell valley. Simply took my breath away. Gift and snack shop is very well equipped. Bfast spread is quite impressive and quality is quite ok. Location is really good, with the shopping street and hell valley entrance just beside the hotel.... More

Right when walking into the lobby. The famous Japanese hospitality begins. First you notice everyone walking around in their yukata or Japanese robes that are provided by the hotel along with towels for use in the onsen that are yours to keep. The breakfast and dinner buffet are both very good with an array of food. The onsen are beautiful... More

We stayed in the hotel for one night, our room was the traditional tatami style, there are smell of sulfur in the room but didn't bother us too much. We love the hot spring , I think is the biggest one in Hokkaido. There are a wide range of selection of food in the restaurant. The only down side is there... More

Dinner was wonderful but think we reached at the last call hour hence the serving is way way way too fast it makes us having a rush dinner. But the food was very good and worthy. Stayed in the Jpn traditional room. The room looks old but overall is all functional and nice. The futon bed was good with cozy... More

Stayed 3 nights in their garden-view tatami rooms with free wifi (east wing), just above and behind the front desk area. The rooms were uber clean and neat, an oasis but, its an aging hotel, hall carpet looks stained & grayish, due to age not filth. No ramp nor lift nor porter nor aide to help with the luggage up...
