When I first booked this place I settled for the many different kinds of hot springs it offered. For the women, it had three outdoor ones, and 7-8 indoor ones which is heaven in hot spring world considering the fact that it gets so hot that you can only stay in the bath for 10 mins max. So having a... More

We got a triple sharing room with two folding beds and one futon. We arrived at night and tried their famous onsen. It was quite big with several pools but largely outdated. The dining area was great and full of diners. The food selection was extensive for both dinner and breakfast. If given another chance, I will definitely go back.

We booked a room through booking.com which in the end I think we got a room in an old wing or something but the smell was very bad. Our booking included dinner at quite a price but dinner was average. Location very close to Jigakudani but the city is very small so you can walk everywhere in less than 15... More

This is a beautiful hotel right next to Hell Valley (Jiugokudani). Our room was a spacious, tatami style room, well maintained and clean. The bathroom was small although typical by Japanese standards. Dinner was served in our room which was a lovely 3 course meal. Breakfast is buffet style with lots of choices. The Onsen is massive with lots of... More

Unforgettable hot spring experience in Hokkaido! The Japanese style tatami is perfect, and they offer 7 different types of onsen, which are almost open 24 hours. The only point is that they don't have any private types for couples regarding the hot spring.

This is one place where you can experience 7 different pools. The Japanese dinner we had with our friends were delectable. The buffet spread for breakfast was really good. The location of this hotel is within short walking distance to the little town where you can shop for souvenirs to buy back for friends.

This is my second stay here. I like the hotel Onzen. They have many different type of Onzen pool in a huge area. The buffet dinner is great! Snow crab leg, sashimi with the big prawn, grill beef, homemake ice cream. Every thing are great. We choose Japanese breakfast, every table had its own room. Food are very delicate. Has... More

Been there 2nd time and it's my first time staying there. The onsen was terrific. Very good location and onsen bath. Stayed in tatami bedroom and had the kaiseki dinner. It came to my surprise that dinner was served in fine dining style. The dinner was great and services are good too.. Highly recommended to stay in this hotel.

Stayed here for one night as I am with a group tour. Stayed in a traditional tatami room. As I had my dinner, the chambermaid has already laid down my quilt cover for bed. There are so many onsen baths to choose from with different temperature. There are indoor and outdoor baths. Greatly recommend this traditional ryokan for anyone who... More

Second time in Noboribetsu, first time at this hotel. It is said that the founder of this hotel started the onsen boom in Noboribetsu and opened it as an onsen town, a place for mine workers to relax (or so said our guide). This hotel is huuuuge. It has several wings, and many different hot springs. Great for onsen lovers!... More
