The indoor 24 hours hot springs feature different waters for beautiful skin, aches. In the men's area, there are 3 waterfall drop springs that massage your back. The outdoor pools are excellent for winter. The bathing and soaking area is huge with 2 floors, almost like a themepark onsen. Ladies and men's onsens are separated. Nearby attractions which are 5... I had an amazing time at this huge onsen resort. I stayed in a Japanese-style room in the west wing (closest to the onsen), and the room was very large, with an entrance foyer and a tiny bathroom (which didn't matter, as I used the onsen washrooms). Rooms, though a bit dated, were spotless and comfortable. There were about 18... More

Stayed here for 2 nights in a Japanese room. This hotel has many different types of hot spring (onsen) pools, and a big bath area. There are 3 outdoor pools, it's a great experience to have a outdoor onsen during winter, but it's freezing the moment you step out from indoor. Luckily there is a pool nearby, I soaked into... More

It's one of the best onsen I've ever been. Big and a lot of pools to choose from. (about 10 or more, both indoor and outdoor) The onsen has high ceiling, makes you feel comfortable. The dressing room is excellent. All the facilities you need, is there. From cotton buds, shampoos, teas to blood pressure metre and all. A big... More

A couple of months ago I stayed at the Daiichi Takimotokan. I put a video review together of the hotel on youtube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joedsQk_V-o Getting to the hotel couldn't have been easier since we took the hotel's bus from the Sapporo JR Train Station to the hotel. Make sure that you reserve the bus in advance though! Note: When we... More

The hotel rooms are nice and spacious, and offers huge spa. Breakfast is excellent. Located just right at the end of the shopping street. Staffs are friendly. The hotel is also just right next to the Hell Valley, which the guest can get there by food in 5 minutes. There is a bus stop right in front of hotel that... More

A true Onsen hotel. Busy with loads of tourists but still maintains the basic charm n classic feel. A very homely outfit despite its size.things work here.
