This hotel is located on the main strip and is not much to look at from the outside. However, inside it is very clean with great decor. We stayed in a 'Japanese room' and if you can afford the extra and want a great experience then definitely do this. All the staff are wonderfully polite and helpful. We had our... More

We stayed here for 1 night while on our way to Sapporo from Hakodate. From the train station, we took a public bus to the hotel, which alights us at the terminal stop down the slope of the hotel main entrance. Check-in and out was a breeze. Room was nicely decorated in japanese style with tatami. Dinner and breakfast not... More

We paid near to 400usd per night for a private onsen room with dinner and breakfast. Room is big and nicely done up. The private onsen corner is great. But the moment I stepped into the dinner area *buffet*, I regretted. Food is really below par and I dont feel the "japanese" hospitality at all. The only time the waiter... More

i went there for a short night's stay from Sapporo. They offer a hotel bus which you can take from Sapporo straight to the hotel for 500yen one-way, which is a very good deal. probably about 2000yen if you take a bus on your own. When I booked the hotel on Jalan, one of the things they stress is the... More

We only stayed one night at the Noboribetsu Grand Hotel. It's well located, just opposite the bus stop (however, the public transports from the nearest train station are not very frequent). The lobby is spacious and elegant, however the tatami room we got needs a refurbishment although it's convenient. The chairs and the table near the window are old fashioned.... More

Noboribetsu is famous for onsen so onsen was a major criterion when we chose the hotel. Noboribetsu Grand Hotel did not disappoint us. Its outdoor onsen with a waterfall and rocks covered with snow is unbeatable! It looks the same as the photos shown on the hotel website. It is also one of the more affordable onsen hotels in Noboribetsu.... More

The location is good, just a couple of minutes away from the bus terminal. No check in allowed until 3pm and checkout is at 10am. There is a big indoor onsen and a couple of small outdoor pools. Probably as I arrived at this hotel from a ski resort, where the outdoor onsen has a nice winter back drop, I... More

We had a large green tea shaded room. It was very comfortable. The service was outstanding, not only did they bell us to our room, but they provided us with a welcome treat. We loved the private onsen. This was a great location to see all the sites of Noboribetsu and go hiking. Our room came with breakfast and dinner.... More

We stayed at the hotel for a few nights at the end of our trip to Japan in June. The location is good, and the lobby welcoming. The rooms, however, are very basic. The bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke the whole time, even though we had a (supposedly) non-smoking room. Fixtures and furnishings were old and tired, and the whole... More
