Sited very near the castle and along the river, I reckon every room here has a nice picturesque view - river facing. Service was friendly and warm. What we enjoyed most was the grand bath - the outdoor onsen was delightful and set in a pretty setting. We made a beeline here every day we stayed. Breakfast had a good... More

Room was spacious and clean. We got a twin room with river view and the view was gorgeous. Service was excellent, with hotel staff showing us to our room and helping with all luggages and bags. Onsens were good and all toiletries and skincare were provided. Dinner was excellent. The hotel grounds were beautiful. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel with very welcoming staff. I stayed for a week. Breakfast buffet was good and there is something for every taste, not just Japanese. Room was clean and comfortable. Wifi excellent. The grand bath spa was the highlight, especially the outdoor section. Bed was a little too firm for my liking.

My family and I stayed over @ the Meitetsu Inuyama as part of our "annual onsen pilgrimage" to Nihon aka Japan. We have had different onsen experiences before and the Meitetsu falls somewhere in the middle in our books. General Impressions: the hotel seemed to be build late 80s to mid-90s. Well maintained with decent sized tatami-mat family rooms...with paper... More

We were there last summer for a night, we enjoyed sleeping in futon over tatami. I loved the thermal bath but we disliked the kaiseki dinner. Fortunately there were a lot of food and drink machines so you can have a cold beer after the hot bath! It's good for a lazy holiday!

We reserved a room at this hotel, no amount of money was required to guarantee the reservation as I read that the Japanese tend to do this by trust. So do turn up if you have made a reservation for a Japanese accommodation... Upon arrival at the Inuyama-Yuen train station, we were looking at the city map trying to figure... More

This is a large Japanese hotel, probably 40+ years old, well maintained with rather large rooms. Excellent public bath, with a nice rotonboro and adequate sauna. It is located at the base of the hill on which the Inuyama Castle, an original dating from 1519 is sited, well worth seeing. The "old" quarter is probably no older than mid-Showa era... More

Nice hotel. Not luxurious but very well kept. The hot springs are wonderfull within a zen garden. It has a convenience store quite handy. I would recommed it.
