My money got stolen from my wallet by the maid when I left it in the room (stupid I know). But the worst part was that the reception thought I made it up, didn't want to help me and said that it was my own fault. Also, the rooms are way too hot and the bathroom was like a sauna.

Well what can I say that hasn't been said many times before. We had travelled from Phnom Penh and after a long & dusty journey & arrived in Sihanoukville, meet by several tuk-tuk drivers all telling us of a great cheap place to stay. So being tired and wanting a shower & rest he took us to GBT1 on Mithona... More

I was taken to this Guesthouse by a motorbike rider who met my bus arriving in Sihanoukville. I originally booked for 1 night but ended up staying for the 4 nights that I stayed in town. I liked the price I paid for my room which was only small, basic and the bed covered most of the room. The room... More

Im still not sure if im talking about GBT1 or GBT4, reason being is that some of the signs stated GBT1 and some GBT4. Anyways WOW. Let me take a breath and review this establishment as good as i can. First of all i have to say that i pay'd only 10 dollars for a room with a fan (which... More

my partner and i stayed here (at GBT4) for 10 days, we had a verandah room 115 - no luxurious view, but were happy with the privacy and clean rooms - paid $AUD20 per night - thats 2 beds, but my friend had the flu so i was happy with the choice of separate bed. the staff were always friendly... My boyfriend and I learned a very important lesson from GBT 2: never trust the recommendation of a tuk tuk driver. We were tired from an early morning boat ride back from koh rong and a long walk to the Vietnamese consulate, so we let our driver take us here since we did not have a room booked. This place... We got to town late afternoon and just wanted a place for one night as we were moving on the next day. Very glad we only stayed one night as the place was really strang! We stayed in a hut with a/c hot water for $20. Room was ok, looked clean enough, but the window in bathroom was always open... More

After travelling around South East Asia for 2 month I have never felt such discrimination, My girlfriend and I originally stayed in Grand Kampuchea Guest House but wanted to find some where cheaper. So I venture out looking. I came across GBT Guesthouse and asked for a room and immediately he replied "full". I was just about to leave when... More

It was our first time in Sihanoukville and we stayed in Gbt guesthouse. The rooms are affordable at $15, very simple and the ambiance is very asian. Rooms are made of wood, old but clean and has its own balcony, 1 floor guesthouse only. The first thing we tried here is their restaurant which serves good food and cheap beer.... More

Whatever you do avoid this place. I needed to stay one night in town and made the unfortunate mistake of staying in this place. The entire place is full of rats. My room had ply board walls, a fan that didn't work, the porcelin toilet was smashed absolutely no wifi available. This was after the desk asdured me that I... More
