We booked 5 Nights in Cheers a gay hotel with bar en restaurant. We arrived and found an empty straight hotel without bar or restaurant. The management should have informed us about the change. The room was nice but sheets very dirty. Bit strange because we were i think the only ones in the hotel. We stood outside waiting. A... More

Cheers Resort was an appreciated gay boutique-hotel with a restaurant and a gay bar. And that was the major reason why I went there, not knowing it just had closed down. Benny's is now a normal straight boutique-hotel. In the moment, it does not have any restaurant - you cannot get any breakfast at the hotel. The hotel is ex-centered,... More

I paid for 7 nights here, but only stayed for 5 of them. It was a mess from start to finish: The management are abusive and abrasive. Real anger management issues. The bar is closed - need to get drinks from the fridge ourselves, and glasses from the kitchen. The drinks are very overpriced and they do not let us... More

Hi, thanks for your review, as you said the hotel has been sold, changed name and has a new staff and management in place. We have decided to close down the large bar at the back and move the bar to the front of the hotel at the swimming pool. The kitchen is closed temporarily until new chef and staff... More

It was splendid. The rooms are of a very high standard, The swimming pool is large, has water jets at one end, and a water fall over a rock wall, very pleasant. The big plus is the food. Les the Owner caters to a high standard and the local chef is excellent. The local staff are very pleasant and put... More

This is an incredible boutique hotel, restaurant and bar. The rooms are large, the pool is huge, and the bar out back has great food, drinks, and nightly shows. I'd recommend this hotel to any visitor without hesitation.

Lovely, spacious rooms, great patio and balcony to relax on..just felt like home from home. Came away with a fresh start with our washing done and beautifully ironed before travelling on. The rooms are large and clean. All staff are so friendly and attentive - they really go out of their way to make sure all of their guests are comfortable and having a great time. They helped us plan and book day trips, made restaurant recommendations and arranged. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very clean and the staff is very kind. The hotel has a large pool in front which was very enjoyable. The room rates are reasonable. If you are wanting to relax and have a good time, then Cheers may be the place. We enjoyed the bar and the staff was very friendly. Les, the owner, was very... More
