After traveling all over Asia, you'd expect one to be used to $6 rooms and their 'quirks'. This place has plenty of quirks, you can make friends with cockroaches, be shouted at by the staff for helping or asking for a 'clean' towel and even meet a family of giant rats :D DISGUSTING! There is a place across the road,... More

Nothing to rave in this guest house except that it is on a perfect location. Walking distance within a few meters from the beach, lots of restaurants nearby and a convenience store within the building. Stayed at the topmost floor, no elevator. Though the steps weren't too steep. Room - spacious, questionable cleanliness Fridge, TV with cable however alot of... More

Stayed here over a week. Very noisy on the beach side. Stayed in room on ground floor in the end with clear view of reception. Booked some tickets with hotel. Told them checking out early the next morning. Paid my bill. Packed my case. And wrapped up mobile phone in pocket of a pair of shorts inside case and went... More

Firstly there are major issues with management. Not to sound like a whinging couple as we have backpacked over most of the world, and understand "budget" accommodation issues. So, because of new years we booked 4months in advance to secure a room. (This is necessary in party locations in sth east asia at peak times). Management accessed our booking (against... More

I am enjoying my time here. 20 minutes walk down the road. Easy walk. Food is good and rooms big. I like walking just across road to quiet end of beach. You are close to everything. As you walk to main area you will find new places to eat and relax. Very relaxed experience.

Again we were taken here by the tuk tuk driver. location of the gh and spacious room for $10 was great. No problems with smells or cockroaches however on our last day the staff had trouble finding our laundry and refused to provide an explanation or an apology. When asked if there was a problem the reply was 'yes', thats... More

I have stayed in the g.b.t. hotel 3 times now and the next time I return, it will be the 4th. are very close to the main beach, run a better the average small hotel restaurant and is one of the least expensive of that classification of hotels. Their staff has always been very respectful and friendly during each of... More

Basically this place is one of 4 GBT guest houses the owner has around Sihanoukville. A previous reviewer suggested bulldozing the place.....my sentiments exactly. Unsuspecting tourists without accomodation booked are collected by TukTuk drivers from the bus stop and bought to one of the 4 GBT places. If one is not suitable they are taken to the next one. My... We stayed here for 17 days and it was a good choice. In 30 seconds you're on Serendipity Beach and it's close to lots of restaurants and bars! We had a nice, big room and it was always clean. I'd definitely stay here again! :-)
