I just stayed three nights at Aquarium in the middle of April. Me and my cousin stayed, first, in a fan room with a dubble bed. It was two fans and for the first time ever during a night in a fan room in Cambodia I could actually sleep (yes, I'm a bit of a sensitive backpacker). It was cool... More

The best two weeks of our four week stay, wish we had found it at the beginning. Peter and Gemma who are the new owners made our stay perfect... what a wonderful and helpful couple. The food cooked by Peter (a trained chef) was superb, whether it was English or Khmer His 'belly buster' burger was to die for!!! Nothing was... More

My boyfriend and I had a few hours to kill in sihanoukville - we headed to the beach in search of somewhere to have a beer in the sunshine. We stumbled upon the aquarium. We got chatting to the owners and felt compelled to leave a review. The setting is as good as it gets - right on the beach.... More

We spent four nights at Aquarium in December and had a wonderful stay. The owners Gemma and Peter are two of the lovieliest people you could ever meet. We stayed in the bungalow closest to the water which was lovely. The food is terrific - love the breakfast, lunch and dinner options and the meals come out very quickly! The... More

Since the start of November this is now being run by a British couple, who do all they can to make sure your stay is comfortable. Spent four nights here in lovely shaded bungalows right on the beach. The owner who is a chef does all of the cooking, & the food he serves up is excellent. The restaurant has... More

This is my second stay at the Aquarium and although I like the room the service staff is surly and unprofessional. As for the rooms although they are nothing fancy they are priced right and the view is great. If you are bothered by noise find another beach because the music plays loudly all night. Like most places in Sihanoukville... More

If ur looking for five star fancy hotel, this place isnt for you. If you want to relax, hang in a hammock and generally chill out, you will love it. Place is a bit old but for $20 a night with an air con, hot water and reasonably comfortable bed, its pretty good. We bought some mozzie coils made it... More

Aquarium Bungalows and Restaurant, on Serendipity Beach, Sihanoukville, Cambodia. http://sihanoukville.web.fc2.com/index.html Very friendly staff, nice relaxing area close to the ocean. Simple Bungalow standard. Breakfast not included. Good breakfast and good drinks to reasonable price. We left our luggage there (without charge) for two days that we spent out on the islands. Here at Serendipity Beach it’s much more relaxed atmosphere... More

Thinking of going to Sihanoukville? Don't bother!! Unless of course, like us, you are after a visa for Vietnam. In which case, try and get in and out in a day and avoid wasting your money on accommodation. The Aquarium charges $10 per night (minimum) and when you think of all the other places you have stayed on your trip... More
