Once I made the reservation they held the room for me without any trouble when I arrived late, after 11PM. The check in was swift and the party behind the desk knew who I was without any issues. They even kept a bottom floor room as requested. The room was easy to find and the parking was ample, close to... More

Spent two separate nights here within 3 days of each other. The first night wasn't as pleasant as the second. The a/c unit fan was very noisy and I found a cockroach in the bathtub in the morning. The second night was a different room and much better. A/C was quite and no additional guests. Both rooms were very clean... More

Nice stay. Friendly staff and the suites are clean. The proximity to Interstate 5 is optimal. Parking is right next to your room. The continental breakfast is adequate and fully stocked. The suites have a small refrigerator and microwave which are in good working condition. Will stay there again.

Great staff, clean room, comfortable enough beds and pillows. Morning breakfast great. Internet connection needed some attention it kept loosing connection and I had to reconnect several times, but it was up long enough to take care of what I needed too. The walk ways need power washing, they were rather dirty. All in all, a good stay, and I... More

Being that this was a Best Western, I actually expected a better room for the price. There was a gap of at least an inch between the floor and bottom of the door - and there were plenty of crickets and who knows what else crawling around our room. The window was at the end of an alley, and it... More

We have tried quite a few options and calculated stops for halfway from San Diego to San Francisco and this is the place fir sure. Much better even than Harris Ranch which is considerably more expensive and not halfway! It's just a surprise to get very nice accommodation's in Kettleman City on par with any Best Western you would get... More

We were driving from Pinnacles National Park to Joshua Tree National Park. Kettleman City was the right distance for our drive that day. There is very little in this area. Nearest pharmacy is one hour away. So don't stop here expecting a town - even a small town. This is a stop on the road with the bare necessities. The... More

We stayed last night on our trip home from San Diego. Nice clean room, (better than expected), HDTV (very nice surprise), granite counter in bath. Breakfast had good variety of choices. WiFi worked well. Only down side was outdoor entrance to rooms. We would stay again if needing a stop on the way to/from SoCal.

This hotel was okay, clean, pretty quiet, and okay breakfast. Staff was fine as well. Really no other place to stay in town, but it was comfortable for an overnight stop. The reason it doesn't get a 5 rating is that the exterior doors do not require a key to enter. The wing we stayed in was a fair distance... More

I've reviewed this hotel before, but I thought it important to say it is going down hill. We stayed here on a trip south, had reservations and checked in around 8:30pm. When we pulled in we noticed a large group of guys up on the second floor walkway. They were with a group that is working in the area (lots... More
