which we did, and had a great time. Most sites have very little shade, but the scenery and the sound of the running water made up for that. The sites by the river have fairly good size. Comparing to other campgrounds near Kernville, this is probably the best.

This is rather a late review from out April 2013 camping trip. We have been camping here for 3 years now and counting. Some sites have trees...shade. We have been staying at site 43. It has great shade & perfect site if you own a hammock. This site can fit at least 3 3-person tent. The campground has clean bathroom,... More

This site is about 20-30minutres North of the Lake. We stayed @ space #38 which was quite big for two tents. We did not reserve this place it was a drive by. This is a nice campground located about 30 minutes north of Lake Isabella and 30 minutes south of the "Trail of 100 Giants".
