This B and B changed ownership in April and is doing some updating and freshening. We stayed in the Yellow room, which was charming. There are are a number of tasting rooms and restaurants within walking distance, which is nice. Marga, the owner, is wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area. She provides guests with a tasting pass offering free... More

We loved staying here and will return. The inn was immaculate. Breakfast excellent and the Innkeeper (marga) was incredibly helpful. She guided us to interesting and fun activities, pointed us to affordable and innovative restaurants and was extremely knowledgeable regarding wineries. So much better than an impersonal hotel.

As a frequent visitor to Sonoma, I found this newly renovated B&B in Kenwood to be a delightful gem nestled in between Chateau St. Jean and Kunde wineries. The new owner and her Innkeeper Marga have infused this historic property with a taste of Tuscany and the tranquility of the Valley of the Moon. I found it to be the... More

We spent a couple of nights while experiencing the wine country. Beautiful home and antiques. We stayed in the Sun Room which was perfect. The linens and towel and bedding were just like at home. We had an extra "bonus" room with a day bed. Perfect location to read. Marga was a great host and the food was excellent.

Great place to settle in for a stay in Sonoma wine country. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the location was perfect for visiting the local wine tasting spots. The passport for free wine tastings was a nice touch and included more places than one would ever be able to visit. Our host Marga had just the perfect sense of... More

Spent 3 nights there and slept as well in the Red Room as in my own bed at home. Loved that breakfast was at 9am (not too early; not too late) and that the food was fresh, creative and SO good. Could walk to local wineries and drink for free (thanks to the "passport" our hosts gave us). The atmosphere... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights the last week of March in 2014. We had a wonderful time. Amazing breakfasts. And gracious hosts. We would higly recommend it. They even suggested to us the drive over the mountain on Trinity Road which was great advice.

We enjoyed our two day stay at Birmingham B&B. Pleasant host, great breakfast and comfortable room. Very clean. Has internet access but no TV in the room (which we thought we would miss but instead enjoyed the feeling of privacy and quietness and realized how intrusive TV can be). Interesting old house, originally built around 1910 and still has much... More

Gerry was a great host! The house was cozy and inviting. It was my husband's first experience to stay at a B&B. We didn't get a chance to meet Nancy, the hostess as she was out of town, but their helper, Maria was wonderful. Gerry cooked a great breakfast of cheese puff and apple cinnamon. The house was walking distance... More
