Stayed early September 2014. Nicely furnished rooms (loved the old armchair!) with fridge, good air con and good WiFi. Super comfortable king-sized bed. Not being a US citizen, but having trvaelled extensively across the USA (so I know this is sometimes done), I find it annoying to be prompted (by an envelope in the room in this case) to leave... We were attracted by reasonably priced rooms and convenient location. But at the end staying there left a long lasting unpleasant aftertaste, created by non-professional management. The lady at the reception was not friendly and one item that we forgot in the room and returned to pick-up later just disappeared.

Lovely clean well equipped room, beautiful location next to June lake. There's a couple of restaurants in the town we ate at the Tiger bar. Free WiFi but no breakfast included, so we ate at the deli just up the road. Overall apart from the hard pillow it was a great stay.

When I made my reservation I asked for a 1st floor room, I was put on 2nd floor upon check-in, I asked for a 1st floor room again and they still could/would not accommodate. WiFi never worked the 3 days I was there. Had I known I was going to be on the 2nd Floor I would have chosen a... More

Visiting Yosemite in prime season is an expensive endeavor, but staying on the eastern edge of the park can save you a lot of money, and it also leads to the discovery of places like June Lake, CA. Complete with cabins and a ski resort and a few pristine lakes, we all agreed that our stay at the June Lake... More

Some might say this place needs some updating but it was spotless and comfortable and I loved the 'retro' décor and kitchen utensils. It fit perfectly with the charm and tranquility of June Lake. And holy moly how have I never been to June Lake before? I loved everything about it and would not hesitate to stay here again. I... More

Wow, The friendliness of the staff, especially the owner Cheri, made us really feel comfortable. those kitchens that the rooms have are really spacious, with all the comforts one would want for an extended stay (we only stayed one night.) So quiet too, you would think with an older place the noise would be more, but no, this property is... More

Really like the location. It is located on Main Street. Just a short drive to go skiing. We enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff and helpful. Room was clean. Would stay again if in the area. We were walking distance to places to eat.

This motel is very well kept. The rooms are remodeled and have a cozy feel to them. As mentioned in other reviews, the TV's are standard TV's, not flat screens, but that's not a big deal to me. Otherwise, there is no downside. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Rooms are equipped... More

Small resort village compared to other ones passed through to get here (we drove into the lake June loop road coming from the north entrance for the scenic route rather from the much quicker route to motel from the south entrance). 2 restaurants, one opening for evening dinner only, we ate at Tiger restaurant for lunch and dinner, very good...
