We booked a room at Boulder Lodge as it was the only motel available late at night. We paid $10 extra for a lake view room. Our view was awesome....the room not so awesome. It was dirty....cobweb, dust kind of dirty and had no patio/deck chairs to sit and enjoy the view. When my husband checked us out the next... More

This is an old lodge, rooms smell musty. Oddly arranged, it was hard to get us all around the table without pulling it out of the corner. The balcony was a scary place to be, the wood was old and creaking we were afraid to even hold on to the rail so it was reserved to drying our swim suits.... More

First of all: the folks seemed very nice, seemed family-owned, seemed like a sweet local place to stay. Sadly, I will probably never go back. We booked on Expedia. Unfortunately, they didn't have our reservation when we got there. They said that has happened already-- not sure if it is their fault or Expedia's. Not problem, they had rooms. However,... More

We want to tell anyone considering a stay in this area about our experience at Boulder Lodge, June Lake, CA. Not only is it in a lovely location right on the lake, but the owners are very caring, willingly helpful people to travelers. We had developed car trouble on a Friday evening and our car ended up at a AAA... More

We ended up here at almost midnight in June when nothing else was available. The room was your average motel type room except it was also cold and noisy. Being awoken at 7am by a heating pipe banging away beside my head was not pleasant. Just an awful experience I wish I could have avoided. No wifi in room. No... More

We stayed here in December and it was perfect right along the lake. One of the only hotels in June Lake that is actually overlooking the lake. It is close enough to town to walk but driving is easier. Great spot for skiing in winter and fishing in summer. The indoor pool and spa is great for the winter as... More

Friendly and helpful staff. Close enough to walk to food and entertainment. Room was clean enough for me but in need of repair and renovation. Walls were cracking and the door hardware is not to be trusted. Too many extension cords and electrical plug adapters for my taste. Hot water took far too long to materialize. Bottom line...Not worth the... More

We checked in on a very wet and cold Sunday late afternoon. But the welcome was very warm. We had a spacious room with a balcony overlooking the lake. Refreshments were available in reception where there were also comfortable seats and free Wi Fi. The managers were very friendly and suggested good locations to eat, some of which were within... Overpriced and unclean rooms. Did even get bitten by bedbugs in room 2a. Found a bedbug in the bed when we woke up, not a great experience. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Was way too expensive, unclean and dirty.
