Walk down to the dock for lake access. Tie up your boat or fish from it. Apt. style rentals have a kitchen /dining area, a living room and a separate bedroom and bath. The balcony views the lake and squirrrel, chipmunk, and bird antics from a simple outdoor lounger or chair. There's close access to lakes on the June Loop,... more

We have stayed there many times over the last several yrs. The rates are very reasonable, close to skiing at June Mtn. & only 20 minutes to Mammoth. We just stayed in a newly re-decorated room with new furniture, paint and carpet and a wonderful view of partially frozen June Lake right outside the balcony. The owners are great and understand our... more

We've stayed at Boulder Lodge for a long weekend of skiing for about twenty years now. They have suites that can accommodate up to ten people. The rooms are neat and clean with a nice kitchenette and living room. Each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo. Suite A has a full size and twin... more

My only hesitation in giving the Boulder Lodge my absolute best recommendation is that I don't want to find it full next time I want to stay there. I've been there three times in the last year. Every time, the staff was unbelievably friendly and accommodating, offering to hold rooms when we were calling in from far away and stopping... more

Don't go on the deck outside Room 311B; it tilts down due to a rotted-away support beam. An accident waiting to happen. Cabin 21 has a wonderful view of the lake, but it has mice and maybe other rodents. As we were moving our stuff out at night, walking up a long winding stairway, we tripped on what we thought... more

We had a great time. The lodge has fab views of the Lake...and best of all - they're the only place that has a pool, sauna, and jacuzzi! Can't wait to go back. more

I have been going to Boulder Lodge for 41 years. I'm also a very good friend of the family, so most people that read this will say that I'm prjudice in my comments. But that's not true. I think that the staff, maids, and maintenace people do a good job. Through the years the lodge has seen many changes and... more

I have been going to Bolder Lodge off and on for about 15-18 years. My wife and I are fishman, and this lodge is perfect for us. They have a nice fish cleanning station, you can go down to the lake from the lodge and fish. They have all the amenities to give a fish fry. I am able to... more

My son tripped on the wet, uneven carpeting on the walkway outside our room and fell through the window. The lodge did give us another room, but it was much smaller, had no refrigerator (as the original room did), and the power went off twice - we were unable to use a hairdryer because of it. They charged me the... more

Bolder Lodge is definately "old school" -- more of a "fish camp" than a motel. My parents go every year and have stayed in several locations around June Lake but often return here due to the friendly staff and the beautiful lake views from most of the hotel rooms (note: most of the cabins do NOT have lake views, only... more
