Incredible mountain views, total serenity. Great spa facilities, gym. Not super kid friendly, but I get it. Will definitely be returning with the wife for a healthy, romantic weekend. The building and facilities have a rustic, cabin like feel, lots of pine. Very well finished though, not rough in any way. Room was immaculate, smooth textures, new furniture. Overall we... More

This was our first time staying at the Double Eagle and I can honestly say it was the best trip we've been on. The resort grounds are beautiful. The indoor pool is awesome and the spa is gorgeous. Every single staff member was over the top, bend over backwards friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return hopefully once or twice... More

Had a great one night stay here at the end of July. Staff very friendly and helpful, the two bedroomed lodge we had was very spacious and immaculate. Very comfy beds too. Highly recommend it for couples or families. Didn't use the spa or restaurant, but both looked good.

It was a beautiful setting (fourplex) right next to a small pond with large rainbow trout. We were given the keys to a unit that was already occupied, so we had to return to the office for reassignment. The unit was clean spacious with everything for a comfortable stay. The restaurant next door offered good food and was a short... More

My wife and I spent three nights at the Double Eagle. We had an upstairs resort room that overlooked Ron's Pond. The room was big and well appointed ( small fridge, coffee maker, small in room sink with wine glasses, corkscrew and bottle opener). The kind size bed was comfortable as were all the furnishings and the chairs and tables... More

Super-friendly girl at the reception desk with useful info about the resort and the area. The room was large, clean and well equipped with big bathroom, tv and small kitchen. On top of this, the porch was with an excellent view. However, this great experience turns quickly if you get your diner in the restaurant. Building is magnificent with large... More

We spent the day in Yoesemite hoping to go back again the next day thinking we could do so because the website said it was 38 miles from Yoesemite entrance. This is true but it is not the entrance that is near Yoesemite Village which is where we wanted to be, it took us 2 hours and 38 minutes to... More

We selected the Double Eagle as we read through trip advisor how great this place is. We stayed one night as the following night was fully booked. Our expectations were fully met. The room lovely the spa top class and the restaurant served very good food. Just make sure that you book for a place early enough. We had high... More

It was difficult to decide how many stars. It is a beautiful area, but there were so many negatives. I wavered between one and two, but felt generous. Cabin: Clean. However, the living room upholstered furniture was extremely uncomfortable which made us all retreat to our own bedrooms which negated the purpose of having a cabin. The sofa bed was... More
