We are return guests, we stayed here previously many years ago. We booked the Convict Lake cabin for 4 people. It had 2 queen beds, a small love seat that sat 2 comfortably, a kitchenette table for 4 and a coffee table and large TV with cable for viewing. The beds were nicely covered in crisp white sheets. The sateen comforter cover... I have visited this place many time all year round. The view is stunning!! I have your their spa which is excellent. I had a facial and was able to use their facility all day which included the gym and pool. The restaurant is excellent and their tiny bar quaint. You can bring the fish you caught and they will... This is our second time staying here but this time we chose a small cabin for 4. It was perfect. Had dishes utensils etc. wood for fireplace. 2 tiny bedrooms and a tv only in living room which means bedroom nice and quiet for sleep. Staff always professional . Kids swam in pool during "kids" hours. There's never enough time... More

Fall color was the "Icing in the Cake" of our visit this October to June Lake and the Double Eagle. Perfectly located directly below the soaring granite mountain and surrounded by forest service land there are drop-dead views in all directions. This is a rustic lodge and cabin setting hiding surprising luxury. We stayed in two cabins, the larger and... More

Autumn in the Sierra Nevada mountains at the Double Eagle Resort and Spa is the only place to enjoy the season! The serene beauty of our cabin nestled between the mountains overlooking the resort pond was an amazing site to wake up to each morning. The 2 bedroom cabin we enjoyed was comfy with modern conveniences. Take advantage of the... More

This resort truly is a treasure; the setting for a large, spacious resort room is exceptional. More like a cabin feel than a hotel. The balcony on the second floor rooms is large with small tables and comfortable chairs. We went during "shoulder season" and it was too chilly to sit outside for long, but the golden aspen leaves definitely... More

It's so wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and were able to enjoy the fall colors on top of that! Thank you for your input regarding chairs in the resort rooms - our cabins have a lot of extra seating, but the resort rooms are a bit smaller. We will work on addressing this issue if... More

Tempted by various pictures of the Fall Colors we'd seen lately, but not wanting to camp as we usually do, my husband and I booked a last minute trip (with great call-in Fall rates) at the Double Eagle. We booked a dog-friendly Resort Room and brought our petite chocolate lab. The scenery did not disappoint, nor did the resort. We... More

We had - in general - a nice stay at Double Eagle Lodge. A family of five, we rented a cabin which had two bedrooms, one bathroom, a pull-out couch and a full kitchen. It was the perfect size for us. Because we booked early and went during the fall season, we got a great rate. The area is splendid,... More

Thank you for bringing your experience here to our attention. We are truly sorry that you were met with less than exemplary conditions in the spa. Please know that we are doing everything we can to fully staff our spa in this busy "shoulder season"! More

A slice of heaven. This place is amazing with natural beauty that abounds. The rooms are clean and well maintained and the staff is extremely helpful. On a recent stay I accidentally left a pair of earring in my room. Since I wear them every day I was upset at the thought that they were lost. I made a call... More
