This is a day use/weekly/monthly RV/tent camping/cabin rental County Park. They offer full/partial hookups, primitive tent camping, and day use as well. We stayed(our first time there) 5-23-14 to 5-26-14, and definitely plan on returning when they re-open at the end of August.(Park is closed 5-27 to 8-29 due to extreme heat) They offer an adult pool, a children's wading... One year ago January my husband and I had an extremely wonderful camping experience in Agua Caliente Campground. We so enjoyed the visit, we scheduled a return in January, 2014. Unfortunately, I took ill and we rebooked the reservation (Confirmation # xx-xxxxxx39) for March 11th departing on March 15th. We arrived on March 11th and found our camp site #... More

Great spot to stop on a drive or camp overnight. Coyotes walk right through your camp. Beware with your small dogs. Great hike around park and guided tours on the weekend. The two large pools have an age minimum, which is nice. Lots of birds and cactus. Bring ear plugs for the frogs at night and snoring people camping on... More

The sky's gorgeous as the sunsets over the cliffs behind the pools. Great camp ground, tents, full RV hook ups, no cable, and great bathroom facilities. There are 3 pools there, however all close to children at 5:30pm. The jacuzzi temperatured mineral pool is open till 9-9:30, depending on when they come kick you out, and is full of many... More

We've been going there on Easter weekend for a few years now and it's been great for all ages! the hiking trails, pools and just all around scenery makes it a great trip everytime! The rangers are super friendly as well, they'll even show you animals they catch/rescue and let the kids get up close.

Planning: booked online. The website has pictures of the individual sites. Pay online. It is in the desert so it is Hot. Water & shade are key to an enjoyable time. Bring your own firewood for camp fire cooking. Dogs allowed!! Execution: stayed at campsite 117, which was a good size with a decent amount of shade. Reasonably private &... More

I have camped at this campground every spring at least the last 4 years. They keep making improvements to the facilities and have even added another pool. This is desert camping, so there isn't a lot of shade, but the bushes and small trees can help if you have some at your site. You can make your reservation online and... More

Great and relaxing campground, with a spring water fed therapy pool that is kept at 100 degrees.
