We stayed there 1-10/11-15 It is a great location, easy driving directions, away from the busy town so you get the country atmosphere, yet close enough to drive to town in minutes for many dining shopping and visitor options.Parking is easy safe well lit location. The mountain view room was clean comfortable tastefully decorated well stocked with needed amenities and... More

Me and my wife were told of Tucker Peak Lodge by a couple of friends who stayed here on their honeymoon. So after calling for details, we were granted a referral discounted rate for a one night's stay. Despite the fact that it's on the top of a kind of steep hill, the place was really good. Jim, the inkeeper was... More

If only I could rate a zero! I travel 80% of my time for both work and pleasure, (I am in the travel industry). I have never experienced an inn or hotel so filthy! This was to be where we spent Christmas. 1. We were told check in was at 4 PM. We arrived at 4:05 to find the place... More

Jim who hosts the place is incredible! Very happy go lucky man very accommodating and willing to make your stay pleasurable however he may help.... More

My husband and I just recently stayed here for the first time and it was everything we had hoped it would be. The views were amazingly beautiful, the Lodge was cozy, and they even had a jacuzzi tub that was an added bonus! I loved the porch and rocking chairs as well. Such a peaceful place. It was the perfect... More

We booked a night in this place and what a mistake this was, a $224.00 mistake. We arrived in town well before check in but since we are not familiar with the area decided to find the place and make sure we knew where it was. And boy are we glad we did. Upon arrival we had to turn up... More

As others have said, the check-in process is self-serve. Ok, no big deal. (I marked the service as "poor" because they're wasn't any... never saw any Lodge employee.) Most of the rooms (like ours) adjoin the central living room... could be a big problem if there are rowdy, midnight-owl guests but it wasn't a problem when we were there. Also... More

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights. Checking in was an interesting experience, as it was a do it yourself experience. The innkeeper wasn't at the property when we arrived, so we had to let ourselves into the room using a lock box key. No big deal, just different. The room we had, Mt. View was... More

Just stayed overnight at Tucker Peak for a quick getaway this past Monday. The lodge has an amazing view and is located in a very peaceful area. Room, common area and the building were very clean. Did not experience any of the negative reviews that are on here. People should know that they are staying at a quaint 100 year... More
