Tucked away on a tree-lined hill just outside of main street Julian, the Oak Hill Inn is a beautiful, peaceful hideaway in the country. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, the nighttime stars bright and plentiful, and had its own private oak-shaded patio. The in-room breakfast consisted of fresh Dudley's Julian Apple Nut bread, which you toast to your... More

B & B was just like the photos. I booked two rooms and got the rooms I wanted. Easy to walk to Julian. Beds were comfortable. Bath very clean and well stocked with all the extra items you might need. The owner, Bill, showed us to our rooms and showed us the extra room by the pool to hang out... More

When I can get away I like finding unique places to stay! My Bf wanted to show me Julian last minute so we called the inn, got their last room and told them we would be a late arrival. They were completely accommodating! The room was great! Unique and cute! It had it's own private patio! The property is Beautiful,... More

Location and price are good if you don't mind A LOT of traffic noise and cars on the weekend as this place is located adjacent to HWY 78 and two blocks from town. The carpet and bed covers are in need of replacement. Door handles and wall switch plates soiled, and spider web under electric heater.I found it odd that... More

My wife and I came to Julian in 1984 and designed and built Oak Hill Farm from bare land to conform to the historical architecture of the Julian townsite. We take a lot of pride in providing clean comfortable lodging within a 5 minute walk of downtown Julian at a decent price. We take joy in the overwhelming positive feedback... More

A friend recommended the town of Julian as a great getaway. Checking on Tripadvisor for where to stay, I decided the mid-week special at Oak Hill Farm B&B Inn was the best choice. Right I was. Nestled on a little hill in the trees just a 5 minute walk to the heart of town, we enjoyed our big room with... More

This place was great. Affordable and comfortable. Great location, you can walk right into the center of town in about five minutes. Wonderful hosts, and a great secluded patio area (at least in the room I got). The place is cozy and a bit well used, but that means that a lot of folks have stayed there which is a... More

First let me say that this B&B is very clean and well maintained, as was our room. The owner Bill, is very friendly and courteous. We stayed in room # 1, and let me tell you right off the bat, the bed really needs replacing. Between that and the fact that it is very hard to maintain a comfortable temperature... More

Thanks for the nice comments...the mattress has been replaced with a new Posturpedic. I will put a note indicating the heater thermostat control is located behind the stove. More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Oak Hill Farm. The rooms are very clean with a little kitchen. You have a coffee maker, muffins and a tiny fridge that has yogurt and orange juice for your breakfast. You can walk to the town of Julian with lots of small shops and restaurants. There is a small pool if you like to... More

Second time at Oak Hill. Love the rooms with country decorating. Great value at a good price, walking distance from Julian-a delightful small town at 4,000 ft. and lots of local charm. Our own small private patio. Coffee and continental breakfast items were great. Though near the road, quiet at night.

The room was just the right size and the price was very good. It was a 5 minute walk to downtown Julian, which is nice. Our room was a detached unit from the house, which was nice also. The little pool was a nice little added bonus. Wish there was a hot tub though.
