I've spent a fair amount of time in and around Joshua Tree National Park in the last 20 years. The surrounding area has seen a lot of sprawl growth and it's increasingly difficult to find a quiet, natural place to stay. Desert Lily was a real find. Very comfortable, pleasant, and welcoming. Carrie has a unique touch - warm and... More

My wife and I spent four days with Carrie in early April relaxing and exploring Joshua Tree National Park. We stayed in the room at the end - very quiet. While the room is small, it is well appointed and very comfortable; plus, you have a front porch and large garden, patio areas right out the door. With this “outdoor... More

We needed a place to stay for a wedding weekend - and are so glad we found the Desert Lily. Carrie welcomed us into her home and provided us with delicious breakfasts served on the patio with lovely views of her garden and the surrounding mountains and desert. The room was small but well appointed - thoughtful touches everywhere --... More

We had an amazing three night stay at the Desert Lily. It was our first visit to Joshua Tree but it won't be our last because we loved the tranquility and Carrie's wonderful hospitality. She really thinks of everything down to coolers and day packs to use in the park to smores kits to use outside by the firepit. The... More

My wife and I spent an amazing weekend at the Desert Lily. The location is the best place is Joshua Tree. Carrie, the owner, is a wonderful host. The rooms are very cleans and the views - OMG - the views are great. A friend of Carrie's gave us a presentation about the stars. Carrie prepared a wonderful breakfast. We... More

For spring break this year our family of five wanted to visit Joshua Tree. I found the Desert Lily on google and we booked the Rancho Rincon. We had a fabulous time. Carrie was wonderful to work with, the property was beautiful. Of course the cowboy hot tubs were the kids favorite. I know it probably sounds cheesy, but between... More

My wife and I spent two nights at the Desert Lily. We have traveled to Joshua Tree for business and pleasure for 20 years and have stayed in most of the motels and campgrounds in the area. We will certainly be return visitors to the Desert Lily. Most of the hotels are right off of the highway where you will... More

We stayed at one of the independent houses - Rincon. We loved the house. It had lots of character & everything we could have wanted. The kitchen is well equipped & we loved the cowboy bath. The setting is amazing, private with incredible scenery. Highly recommended.

Entertained friends from Nova Scotia who wanted to visit Joshua Tree NP. Wanted to find a special place to stay and The Desert Lily is indeed special. We stayed at the B&B and enjoyed the comfortable well appointed rooms, the lovely breakfast Carrie prepared and the property's beautiful desert setting. We enjoyed a lovely stay at The Desert Lily. It has a great room with with southwest décor, large windows looking out on the desert, a guitar and a stereo that you can use to play music from your iPhone. We stayed in the Ruby Star room and it was immaculate, had a very comfortable bed and cute Dia de... More
