We had stopped here for lunch a few times in the past and I always said I'd love to stay here, it is quite remote (the drive here is a bit scary if you are afraid of heights!), but such a beautiful area and the hotel seemed so unique. There were also some cute raccoons who were on the property... More

Beautiful views of the ocean! On site restaurant was above average. I only have a few suggestions which are (1) please make breakfast earlier than 8:30 am (that's 11:30 EST)! (2) The rooms need updating as the decor is quite out of date. (3) The bathrooms also need updating. If you can handle outdated decor the view and sound of... More

I think that this hotel is best suited to the winter when the fire in your room can be utilised and the firepit properly enjoyed. Check it was amusing, "I need to do something with the computer, just give me a moment". Dinner in the evening was so much better than we expected but the "bread basket" will be the... More

Tired hotel that was grand in the 1970-80's. They're gradually updating the rooms, but they need to step it up because most rooms are outdated with difficult floor plans (like showers, tubs, and fireplaces in the middle of the room which are easy to trip over in the middle of the night). There's no insulation in the walls between rooms... More

Stayed here the end of August for one night with three other couples. Very nice location. We stayed in corner room 500 with the view of the cove and ocean. The other couples stayed in ocean view rooms. The room has a rustic 70's vibe and weird layout. The shower is in the actual room and had no lighting except... More

We stayed at the Timber Cove for 2 nights in September with family. The inn/hotel is nicely located with a beautiful view of the sea, about 30 minutes north of Jenner. Like: the view and proximity to ocean (could hear from the room), bocce court, fire pit, lobby bar (although slow service), front desk people were nice. Room was good-... More

We spent two nights at the Timber Cove during the period of August 21st and 22nd, 2014. Our daughter was getting married at this location and we decided to stay here. It was not a mistake. The room we had was beautiful! It was newly remodeled and overlooked the cove with a walk out balcony. The wedding itself was put... More

We had a couple of nights at Timber Cove and we had been really looking forward to it. The pictures on the internet had really whetted our appetite but sadly it really didn't match up to our expectations. The view from our room was fantastic especially when the sun came out. There were birds to watch in the cove as... More

You can't beat the location. The rooms are spacious and the restaurant surprisingly good. It's the perfect place to get away from it all, though the drive from Jenner can be harrowing when you're behind a very, very slow motor home...

This is a comfortable lodge in between the road and the ocean. Has great views. Room was quite small but had internal staircase to very small upstairs bed. Although small it was quite charming, with balcony. Restaurant was fine and bar too. Only grumble was room was above the restaurant and in the morning was disturbed by the background music... More
