A recent trip to Jenner to visit family provided a most pleasant surprise. Driving into this tiny town right on the ocean I experienced a time warp in all the best ways, feeling as if I were back in the '50's. Winding roads lead to charming houses up in the wooded hillsides. The picturesque Russian River meanders to the ocean... More

I'm in the Charles room as I write this. Holes in the walls from old drywall anchors, 3 different window treatments on each of the 3 windows, mold in shower, dust on windowsills and baseboards. This room needed a complete remodel 10 years ago! The hipsters in the office need to embrace the energy of the putty knife and paintbrush.... More

Well, it's a work in progress. It was old but clean. I thought it was a little overpriced for the condition that it is in but $118 plus tax on the coast might be normal. I would like to see it in a few years when the new owners are supposed to refurbish it. We went to the gas station... More

My friends and I booked on-line simply because it was less expensive than Bodega Bay. We booked based on the information from the previous owner. This place is a work in progress, because it is under new, awesome management. The new owner bought this place with a vision....we only got a glimpse of his vision while there, but it seems... More

We booked at this Inn because we had heard it was beautiful and romantic. It was terrible. They were remodeling in the main building adding a kitchen and dining room. I hope their menu is better than what we had at the "best restaurant" in town because it sucked. River's End had a weird menu the weekend that we were... More

My husband and I checked into this hotel on May 21, 2014 for one night (we were lucky it was only for 1 night). There was some confusion about the unintended upgrade (the manager had to switch us to this room as they needed our room for another couple) to The Avalon room, and the nice young man attempted to... Wow! What an amazing house! The porch looks over the driveway and you can even see part of the ocean. The master bedroom downstairs has double doors looking out on to the porch and the bathroom was tastefully designed. Upstairs is perfect for kids because it's a big loft with a bed in each corner. Also beautiful large windows over... More

In spite of the sweet sounding name of my cottage, it was one of the smelliest, most worn-out places I've ever stayed. It was easily the worst (and most expensive) of the 9 hotels we stayed in during our two week drive up the PCH. The front porch of the cottage had been converted into a poorly insulated bedroom with... More

We had been recommended to the Inn by friends and were so looking forward to our stay. It sounded so quaint and pleasant. What a nightmare. The room was very run down. Stains on the carpet and furniture. Rickety furniture, cobwebs everywhere (not sure if they we artificial to add ambiance or they just hadn't cleaned the place in years).... More

This is my first ever online review, but I had to write because our experience was so bad. While the view is lovely, of course, our room - the pelican suite - was so sparsely and shabbily furnished it was hard to enjoy. What's worse, the sleeper sofa was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. I had... More
