This lovely B&B is located just off the main street in Jamestown, CA. Its ambiance is lovely Victorian furnishings. It is within one block to downtown Jamestown, thus making an easy walk to local shops, restaurants, Cocktail lounges,& the historic Railroad station, where the movie "Back to The Future" was filmed. The breakfast is sumptuous. There is ample parking. Prices... More

We stayed as the only guests for one night. Anita and her husband do provide a warm welcome and the other pluses are: > 3 minutes walk from the main street and restaurants. > Plenty of car parking > Old house style decor with lots of features which may or may not be to your taste. > Help yourself tea... The staff were kind and considerate. We were there in August and it was 104 degrees outside. The lobby where we check in was wonderfully chilled, however our upstairs room, not so much. I turned on the ceiling fan to circulate the WARM air. I booked this location because I was willing to pay the high cost (relative to the... More

Very nice victorian style house! Sleeping there is like traveling in the past! There are so many little details everywhere in the house ! Service is quite good! Wifi signal a little bit low depending on where you sleep! Breakfast is very nice ! Bed is very comfortable !! A must do if you go by jamestown!

We were really looking forward to our first stay at a B&B. We were somewhat disappointed. The house of course is 100 years old. So we expected smaller rooms and not the best electrical and plumbing. Our room was bigger than expected, but was filled with way too many antiques and not all from the period of the home. Somewhat... More

When we arrived we were unimpressed with this bed and breakfast, there were alot of overgrown plants/weeds, It was hot and musty inside and upon check in the air had not been turned on which was promptly turned on. We did not sleep well at all since the mattresses are so old and sagging, the pillows are so old they... More

My husband and I checked in for an anniversary get-away. We really loved the "double double" room with side-by-side bathtubs -- lovely way to relax after a cave adventure. A bathtub bookcase was a very thoughtful touch, as was the bubble bath and the fresh robes. Alas, my husband didn't really sleep well on the mattress. Maybe my expectations were... More

I spent two nights in a spacious Victorian themed bedroom. Very clean and attractive. Breakfast was delicious and different each day. Host and hostess very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed conversing with several couples visiting from other countries. Only small downside was lack of soundproofing between floors. I could hear all walking and hum of conversation in the room above... More

We enjoyed a single overnight here on our way to Yosemite last weekend and were glad that we did. Owners Ken and Anita are very gracious people who do their best to please. We were treated to a special-needs breakfast (gluten-free) that was out of this world! Breakfast was served in a screened conservatoryand it was a beautiful morning with... More
