I enjoyed the fact that the motel is located above the noise of the traffic on Highway108. Parking and swimming pool are out of view of traffic on highway. I stayed in room #315 for 5 days. It was clean and comfortable. The motel staff was very helpful. The only issue I had with the room was the AC/heater unit... More

Yes it's old but the molded shower curtain and animal smell are things that can be fixed...This place needs a makeover.

Staying at this place gave me the opportunity to review how I should pick my place to stay . If after reading my review you even consider staying at this dirty place, first go into the bathroom you will see mold and hair on the walls, try the hot water, you will find none. Next check out the heat which... More

My wife & 2 children were doing a California road trip & stayed here 1 night. The room was spotless as was the pool. To us the motel had a 60s/70s Retro look about it which we loved. If we ever get back to beautiful California from Australia again we would definitely stay at the Minors Motel

We had extended family stay here for two nights in 4 rooms to visit other family who live close by and it was a very reasonable stay. Rooms are not huge, but you are not paying for huge here either. Considering the cost of lodging in and around the gold mining country, this was a nice motel with good service... More

I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at our hotel. Jamestown is a very old town as is most of its century old buildings. The smell is characteristic of old buildings and not possible to get rid of without rebuilding. May I suggest staying in a large franchise in another location, since there are none in Jamestown.... We have stayed here and were a little disappointed by the information they supplied and the quality of the room and the location. This is not a good place to stay if you want to visit Yosemite for multiple days, like we intended.

I am sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay. Yosemite is an hour and half drive from our hotel. There are very few hotels close to the actual park, and they are usually much pricier and difficult to find an opening. Our town of Jamestown is the next closest location to Yosemite National Park and we are only... More

A standard motel in a roadside location. A short drive to shops and restaurants. Relatively clean, but nothing special. A good stop off point before/after Yosemite.

Stayed here based upon the reviews. The room was large and comfortable and the management was very accomodating. This room suited our needs as we were with friends on the lake and didn't want to camp. Location is great! The only issue we had were ants but I have ants at my house and realize that there isn't anything you... More

We have been coming for years. We have watched the owners children grow up. Everytime we have been forced to stay at another location other than the Miners, we have been disappointed. The rooms are clean, spacious, and have a small microwave, refridgerator and coffee pot at no extra charge. We feel this is our second home. Thank you Rahmesh... More
