We stayed there for one night and were very satisfied: large clean room with refr + micro + coffee.Free wifi on the room friendly at the reception Nice patio with rocking chair to enjoy and sit outside. Even swimmingpool. You need a car to reach downtown jamestown but if you have this is a perfect place to spend the night.

Just stayed here for 1 night on my way to Yosemite National park and this place is convenient and cheap. This place is slightly older than other motels but I had no issues with anything, you get what you pay for and this was fine. Motel staff were friendly and recommended great places to eat locally. For dinner I recommend... More

Delightful place near the small and picturesque town of Jamestown, on the edge of Yosemite National Park. Comfortable, spacious, well equipped room with a lovely view of wooded hills from the balcony. Inexpensive. Friendly and helpful proprietor. We didn't have time to use it, but there was a lovely little swimming pool also. We recommend.

Stayed in room 301. An old facility with rustic charm. Room was large and clean. Bed was poor quality. Sides of the mattress sag so you have to sleep further in. Mattress pad bunched up. I didn't have a problem, but my wife said that every time I rolled over she got bounced and woke up. The A/C unit was... More

I spent 2 days at the Miners Motel while attending a wedding in Columbia. It was quiet with old motel charm. The room was very clean and attended to each day. Though it wasn't fancy, it wasn't dilapidated either. I loved the large all tile shower that was in good shape. Much of the external facility is being renovated. The... More

We stayed after a visit to Yosemite as we were unable to find anything reasonably priced nearer the park - it should be noted the journey is well over an hour long. The Miners Motel is pretty much what I was expecting for the price range and given the lack of options in Jamestown. It's a little tired but has... More

I enjoyed the fact that the motel is located above the noise of the traffic on Highway108. Parking and swimming pool are out of view of traffic on highway. I stayed in room #315 for 5 days. It was clean and comfortable. The motel staff was very helpful. The only issue I had with the room was the AC/heater unit... More

Staying at this place gave me the opportunity to review how I should pick my place to stay . If after reading my review you even consider staying at this dirty place, first go into the bathroom you will see mold and hair on the walls, try the hot water, you will find none. Next check out the heat which... More
