This is the second year that I (and others in my profession) have stayed here for extended work stays (2 months). The staff are great people, and everything you need is within walking distance. It is a very safe area and peaceful, and I've always met an assortment of interesting people from all over the world. Great place! more

We LOVE the Jacumba Hot Springs Hotel ! Alfred, Sonia, Alma, Fernando and Gina are some of the friendliest folks we have met - and we travel a great deal! The people who live in Jacumba are are great - a lot of fun to laugh and dance with on a Saturday night when Dave is playing. Be sure to... more

Creepy! Dirty! Stay Away! I was traveling by myself, planning to camp but it had gotten too cold and I didn't think there was another motel in the area without backtracking many miles. They tried to put me in a room with no deadbolt, at the far end of the pool with no one around. As a woman traveling alone,... more

I have been going to Jacumba for years. If you can get over expectations for a HoJo's in the middle of the chaparral, you'll find it to be clean enuf to be comfortable and enjoy the character of the place. Be sure to hike up the hill behind the town and see a panoramic view of Baja. I sure hope... more

The first room they rented to us the lock on the door would not lock. After placing us in the room next door they claimed to have fixed the lock. Yet when the door lock was inadvertently checked, it still did not lock. One of those things that make you go hmmmm! Our hotel room was dirty, and the spa... more

The woman who runs it is very very nice, but the place is really one step up from camping. It could be wonderful, and the gardens are nice. Dirty, Moldy, tiles missing on the floor. The water was nice, but bugs everywhere and mold around the pools etc... I dont know how/if they clean the water? But the bed was... more

My wife and I stayed at the spa for 2 days. We were celebrating our 24 anniversary. We had a great time. The staff from ownership to maids to resterant were all friendly and enthusiastic. Hanging out in the pool was the most relaxing time we've had in quite awhile. The grounds are funky and beautiful. Lovely large pine trees... more

The place is an older slightly rundown desert motel in the middle of nowhere with a "manana" mentality, but we really enjoyed it. It was like going back to the 50's and stopping at an old place on route 66 with the bonus of the hot spring and pools. Definitely not a five star place, but the room was clean... more
