So, went to dinner here on Saturday night to celebrate a friends birthday. Sat outside as the inside seemed warmer than outside. Service was slow but the food was great. Only ate at the restaurant but can't find a listing for the restaurant. We will be back for dinner, looking forward to trying the pork loin.

This was our second stay at Jacumba Hot Springs, but not out last. I’m really impressed with the remodel. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, are so much nicer. Keep in mind, this isn’t a resort, it’s a motel with mineral pools. But it’s affordable, peaceful, and only an hour drive from San Diego. We were very pleased with the room,... More

Stayed at the Jacumba Hot Springs hotel a few times about 12-13 years ago. Enjoyed it but the place was a bit rustic. The place has been recently completely remodeled. We stayed there in early February 2014. The rooms are up to date. Pools (2 outdoor) and patios wonderful. Restaurant food good and reasonable. Bar cocktail prices very reasonable. Only... More

A find! Low-key, relaxed place with about 30 rooms, each with a table and chairs outside under a deep covered patio. The rooms are arranged in a rectangle surrounding one of the two mineral spring-fed pools. The other pool is designed for kids, and in a separate area there's a hot tub -- again fed by mineral springs -- and... More

I celebrated my 50th birthday here in October 2013. I rented the entire resort for my 65 guests and they all loved the experience here. They are now catering to the guests' needs and run a professional resort. I will be enjoying many more family gatherings here. Kenny G.

The refurbishment of this hotel has been great. Just a few small suggestions to make it even better: The TV is completely counter-intuitive. I recommend each room have an instruction sheet in simple language, pre-tested by people ignorant of technology to see if the instructions make sense to them.. Remember, you are often dealing with a senior demographic; we were... More

Have visited this Spa 2 tims per month for about 5 years.Loved it allways. Now,a No. of new managers have changed hands and they did not care much about it.,For what-ever reason.?... It shows.Sadly to say. But, as it now April,2012,it has new owners again and it closed for buissines at the moment. The Spa is now being re-done,so to... More

The Jacumba Hot Springs is now open under new ownership and management. Every thing about the old Spa has been changed, updated, renovated or dumped. The grounds, pools, spa, restaurant and bar have all been done over. You will no longer have bad staff, bad rooms and especially no bad attitudes. We look forward to seeing returning guests and new... More

A "softball," a well documented and well intentioned 2 hr trip out to the Jacumba Spring Lodge with 10 compadres was received in a LESS than Lackluster manner by the Manager. He seemed more interested in obfuscating and being absent Than being welcoming and present to a volunteer cadre of potential future clientele. This modus operandi demonstrated by management will...
