Our room was clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Massage therapist Jennifer was great. But for a location that is a "spa", they need to repair pool and have more accessible steps. This body had trouble getting in and out of pool, which had very rough surfaces. My friend tripped on the very uneven walkway. And you have to... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights here last weekend. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They served us drinks in jacuzzi where we were relaxing after a 16 mile bike ride, and our server, Michelle, in the restaurant couldn't have been more accommodating when we had dinner at their restaurant later that evening (great food!). The only reason... More

It is the only Hotel in a small village that you can enjoy mineral baths and the nature. There are 3 swimming pools, one indoors with Jacuzzi and sauna and two outside big outdoor pools that you can enjoy if the weather permits. The set up very nice and quite. The water is not mixed with chlorine as we were... More

Teen daughter and I spent one night at hotel on our way to Salton Sea area/Salvation Mountain. Everything about the stay was perfect! From the minute we walked in, it felt good. Friendly, welcoming with a "local" atmosphere. Weather was windy and a bit cool, so we used only the indoor tub. Splendid - our skin and hair the next... More

We ate at the restaurant of this funky old hot spring hotel. Friendly people. Easy to eat food. Great old school happy place to hang out. The owner gave us a brochure for the nudist resort he owns down the road. A slice of Americana that you should only miss if you have no use for the old days or... More

I loved the old California feel of this hotel. We stayed one night while traveling to Mexico (there are very few hotels in that area). The rooms were ok, but very cold and they need some updating. I wanted to take a dip in the pool, but you have to pay extra. The food is wonderful and the staff accommodating.

What a delightful surprise! My husband and I took his parents for an overnight at this fantastic inn. We were surprised to find such a treasure off the beaten path. The weather was cool and overcast so we opted not to use either of the 2 outdoor pools, even though they were warm. We did enjoy the indoor pool and... More

My mom (age 85) loves 4-wheeling on old miner's roads in the desert, and my husband and I are rock climbers, so we planned a trip to Valley of the Moon. After a day of playing in the desert, we stayed overnight at this amazingly charming inn. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Brittany was a font of info... More

Jacumba was 'bypassed' by I-8; it is on Old Highway 80...a small town with 1 restaurant (soon to open #2), this Spa Hotel, and a grocery. It is so charming. The HOT (suplhur) springs feed the indoor tub and 2 outdoor pools. The rooms are modern, clean and roomy with Satellite TV and fridge. The restaurant is great - very... More

Yes, you can visit fancier, pricier, more "deluxe" hot springs resorts, but this one has a real old, slow California feeling that is pretty darn neat. No overpriced "spa treatments", soaps for sale here. Just good old sulfur hot springs (mild scent), clear and clean air, desert skies, and the blue mountains of Mexico to the south. It is on...
