The Best Western in Jackson ,CA is one of the best places to stay. It is within walking distance to 16 antique shops in the downtown area of Jackson, and Denny's restaurant is next door. The rooms are ALL very nice, and the parking is excellent.

Great place to base yourself while in the Amador Wine Region. They offer a breakfast, but there is also a Denny's next door. "Downtown" Jackson is easy walking distance. Be sure to visit the kitchen store. EXCELLANT!!

We Stayed at 6 Best Westerns on the way back from our Winter retreat in Arizona. We said at two Travel Lodges, Best Westerns are far more consistent and clean with better breakfasts. We will only stay at Best Westerns in the future. My Favorite was in Auburn, WA. Best Western Plus Peppertree Inn.

Close to many wineries and tasting rooms. Good size hotel rooms with free wifi. We stayed on second floor with the windows facing the street; another couple who travelled with us had a room on ground floor overlooking the parking lot. Luckily, none of us experienced any noise from the street traffic or from the the parking lot. The breakfast... More

Close to all events we wanted to attend. Hot breakfast was included with our stay. Hotel staff were very accommodating. We were greeted by a friendly clerk who informed us all of our requests had been accommodated. One thing you should know is this is a two story hotel with several buildings. There is no elevator in the building our... More

We reported dogs barking twice. Once late in the evening 11:30pm (we were in bed) and again waking us up very early in the morning (of course we were in bed asleep again). We were told told shortly and rudely by the staff that WE should go through the hassle of changing rooms. Is it just me or shouldn't the... More

The location is very central. Buildings and Staff nice, Clean. Breakfast is sub standard, but the Denny's next door gives a 10% discount to people staying a the hotel. We would stay there again, but would pass on the breakfast.

They were really accommodating when it came to our dog. We were in the "Pet wing" but it was quiet. We saw other dogs but never heard them. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was good.

Great place to stay. Centrally located which gives me easy access to so many other areas in the region. Especially for the price they give me. Have stayed here for the last 4 years and have never had a problem. Staff are courteous and friendly. If you make the trip then make this your stay.
