Recently spent one night at this hotel for a conference the next day. What I liked: -very clean room -good food (had 2 meals at the restaurant and catering at the conference) What I didn't like: -somewhat noisy, since my room was adjacent to the freeway. The a/c was quite loud as well. -the foam bed, which was too soft... more

This hotel is top notch. Valet or self parking, good workout facility, a choice of restaurants (including sushi bar), full service Starbucks, clean and well appointed rooms and a nice Conceirge lounge. Staff is friendly and greets you as you enter the door. more

My fiance and I spent 4 nights in August at the Irvine Marriot for a conference he was attending at the Irvine Hilton. We'd stayed at the Hilton in March and hated the noisy plumbing, slamming doors, paper-thin walls and lack of ambiance. Our AAA card got us a great weekend rate at the Marriott. Our stay was wonderful from... more

Very nice pool area - shade available for those unable to tolerate the sun. Nice pool area furniture, well kept grounds. Checkin was speedy and flawless. Lobby bar was very active in the evening. Starbucks located in lobby. Several options for meals including a sushi bar. Basic Marriott room with the wonderful Marriott comfort bed. Soft nice sized towels. Downside... more

Stayed here with family for a 2 day conference. Overall this is you typical Marriott. Very nice quality of rooms and public areas. Pay for every amenity above and beyond the shampoo, soap and ice. This is an acceptable business hotel, but would not recommend it for leisure travel, simply because it is located on an office building campus. more

I was in Irvine attending meetings at our corporate offices and with our clients who were located minutes from our building. The Marriott is used often by our Honolulu office due to its proximity to our corporate office which is literally right across the street. As hotels go, it's very efficient, professionally managed, and clean. Unfortunately, what impressed me the... more

I traveled to Irvine for business on weekdays for about 3 months and stayed at this hotel during that time. This property is very much in a higher class of hotels, service is very good. The room has a high quality feel, all amenities are newer and modern. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are of high thread... more

My husband and I stayed here two nights to get together with friends in Newport. We got a very good price on Priceline--so good, in fact, that I don't like to say anything negative. But we were waked up twice in the middle of the night by loud (obviously inebriated) people in the corridor outside our room. We don't expect... more

I liked their workout room and it had a nice pool that semed to get a lot of use. I had no problems with this hotel... more

spent two nights there to visit the scottish festival in costa mesa...best part -- the linens --- fabulous. hotel is upscale, nice...but the freeway noise, and the air conditioner going on and off...were a bit off-putting. rate, $127, was reasonable. small, yet ample room size. no refrigerator...no safe...HD TV....costly parking and wi-fi... more
