I must have visited on an off day. It used to feel so grand pulling up to the front doors of the Hyatt Regency in Irvine with all of the flags standing tall. They have as of now removed all of the flags. When you walk in to the front desk it is a spacious area for lounging with couches... more

Our standard room at the Hyatt with 2 standard beds was very spacious. The window was on one whole side of the wall, facing the lush landscaping of the front of the building. The room was clean and comfortable. The only think we didn't like was the parking fee of $15 per day. The pool area was lushly landscaped. However,... more

Stayed one night here in late September. Booked via hotels.com and paid £67 (~$110) fully inclusive. Arrived late and found bar open with snacks at not stupid prices so that was good. There is a kind of mini-mart which does breakfast stuff. Juice and bagel $8. The hotel is isolated on a business park and there is not a whole... more

I recently stayed with my two daughters at the Hyatt Regency Irvine because my daughter's soccer team was playing in a tournament in Irvine. We live just an hour or so away, but decided that we would make it a weekend away to avoid having to fight SoCal traffic in between games. I am so glad we decided to stay.... more

I made a short trip to the Hyatt so my review is based on just a single day's experience but I think it's safe to say this is a fairly nice hotel. The property is clearly older with CRT tvs versus the Flat Screens newer and remodeled Hyatt's have but that's minor. My room was well furnished, spacious and quiet.... more

I have stayed here several times. I love the location. My room is always immaculate and the bed quite comfortable. I've only used the pool once and it was very clean, perfect temperature, and a full supply of fresh towels poolside. The fitness room is more than adequate with up-to-date equipment. The negatives are the minimal service - noone seems... more

I haven't stayed at a lot of chain hotels, so the Hyatt Regency Irvine could be standard fare. I found that for the amenities, the group rate of $99/night (for a wedding) was a steal. The groom tells me that their published is not much higher. The hotel is spacious, kept very clean. One night during my stay, they were... more

The hotel is very nice physically, food is good, but the service is exceptional. From the front desk to the man who delivered room service. more

The only reason I stayed at this hotel was because I got a good deal on priceline - I think it was around $65/night. However, add the parking fee of $15/night and you're back up to $80 + taxes. Our room was clean and well-appointed, the beds were especially comfortable. I travel to southern California several times a year and... more

My group stayed here for three nights. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfy. However, there was an event going on during our stay and a few pre-teen girls blaring music at weird hours next door. Parking is $15/day, which we weren't too happy about. Our main concern was, people from the hotel walked into our rooms TWICE... more
