This is not a B&B - you feel like a welcomed house-guest. On arrival we were offered freshly baked cookies with a help-yourself selection of tea/coffee/chocolate and then a bit later it was on to the wine, cheese selection and crackers! Terri has a wonderfully comfortable living room with windows on all sides and a delightful (and very useful) library... More

This B&B is a little off the beaten path, but a good place to explore the coast north of San Francksco. The inkeeper, Teri, is very knowledgable about the local area - restaurants, hiking trails, wildlife, wineries, and she is very willing to share her knowledge and experience. She is so knowledgable on a wide variety of topics that it... More

the facts: wife and I celebrating wedding anniversary visiting Pt. Reyes for getaway/hiking. Room: Readers Room Review: Teri and her staff are sweet, make you feel at home and make you feel very comfortable from the moment you walk in. The reader room we got is probably their smallest room, but with a new bathroom and a beautiful bathtub ,... More

Ten Inverness Way is a quaint old wooden house. It felt a little cluttered -- the common ares have stacks of books and cases of nick-knacks. Our room was small, which doesn't bother me in general, but the decor choices made it feel more cramped than necessary. Still, there was a certain charm to the place...until you noticed the rules.... While we consider constructive criticism important to the management of a successful and professional business, this review requires clarification on several points: 1. We have marketed ourselves as "the inn for hikers and readers" for over 30 years. For some guests this is a romantic notion; for others not necessarily. 2. Our library visibly has custom bookshelves under construction. Currently,... More

I wanted to get away to the countryside, and feel the calm of leaving the city for a weekend. My two nights here were all this and more: lovely hosts, cozy wooden living room, gorgeous little library, and quiet bedroom. Great location to come back to after exploring the area and drink a cup of tea with a book. More

We were traveling with another couple and enjoyed a night at this Bed and Breakfast. It was very cozy, comfortable, clean and much quieter than expected, being an old house with bedrooms close together. The hospitality was wonderful with helpful hints regarding sight seeing in the area. The living room - dinning area is bright with a warm feeling of... More

the house is over 100 years old and was built as a residence. It is lovely. Full of charme and with a warm and inviting atmosphere. We had great conversation with other guests and the host. A truly enjoyable experience! The rooms are small and dated but adequate. The surroundings are blissful. A very nice experience, indeed. More

We recently spent the New Year weekend at 10 Inverness and were glad we did. Yes its a bit "cozy" and a bit noisy....the sound does carry from the common room directly below the rooms....but it all seemed part of the charm. We felt we were guests in a large old family home occupied by various generations which was appropriately... More

Teri's place is gorgeous, and my husband and I loved our 3 nights there. We met and married in California, and returned for our 25th anniversary. Point Reyes has always been special for us. Next time, we'll come for a week! More

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Ten Inverness Way B&B. Teri, the innkeeper, couldn't have been more helpful, more kind and a more interesting person with whom to converse. The village of Point Reyes Station was a wonderful place to shop and walk around, and the entire Point Reyes area is a highly recommended place to... More
