Our family of 5 stayed at the Fir Tree Cottage. We had a difficult time finding the location, and had to pull up their website which had very detailed instructions. When we arrived there were deer wandering the property, the kids were enchanted. The gardens are amazing. The cottage was spacious yet cozy and very, very clean. We used the... More

We had the great pleasure of staying here recently and arrived tired and frazzled and left 24 hours later incredibly well-rested- seriously, it was the best night's sleep since I had a baby a few years ago! We stayed at Fir Tree and so enjoyed the earthy feeling of the place. We loved reading and relaxing and taking a walk... More

We were a group of 4 adults and 3 children and stayed at the Fir Tree cottage for two nights. The visit was very pleasurable - the cottage is clean and has a lot of charm. It is situated in a beautiful garden and is well located for touring the Pt. Reyes nature preserve. The cottage was a bit tight... More

My family and I just returned from a two-night stay at Rosemary Cottage's Fir Tree home and I am so happy we made the time to get away. Our stay was so invigorating, relaxing, cozy, and delicious! From the beautifully landscaped garden and natural wood that surround the cottages to the charming farms and gorgeous land that is Point Reyes... More

My Love and I went up to celebrate her birthday and to get a way for some restful recreation before the holiday rush. When we arrived at the FIrtree Cottage, we were right away taken by how much bigger it seemed than in the pictures. Though still cozy, the ceilings soared in the great room as you walk in the... My sister and I just returned from a stay at the Rosemary Cottage property. We were a little concerned about our choice of this inn based on the previous review and were most pleasantly surprised by what we found. Rosemary Cottage and its big sister Fir Tree Cottage are located on a beautiful piece of wooded property that has been... More

This rental and its sister properties, Fir Tree and the Ark, were a huge disappointment. Located in a nondescript residential neighborhood, these are more like second-hand homes rather than the luxury properties you'd expect at these prices. The beach front motels along the bay were much more fun, at a fraction of the cost.
