We say this because it is up for sale. Hopefully to be bought by someone who wants a wonderfull B&B. This was my husband and my 4th visit and it was with our children and their spouses for hubby and our daughter's birthday. As always we had a fabulous time Lynn was there to greet us and Mary kept us... more

We just returned from a two night stay at the Blackthorne Inn during our honeymoon. We had the Eagle's Nest room as recommended by so many here and elsewhere. What's more, we had the entire place to ourselves. I don't know if this is a mid-week low-season phenomenon or a sign of the economy or what, but it was an... more

Amazing breakfasts! Lovely remote location in Inverness, yet close to Pt. Reyes. Would highly recommend for couples. Close to horseback riding, hiking, Cowgirl creamery, wonderful restaurants & kayaking. Excellent place to get away for a couple nights. more

We stayed for three nights in the forest view room, which was a wonderful experience. It starts when you enter the house. You are immedeately made to feel at home: very cozy sitting room and various options for breakfast: sitting at a table, on an inside terrace or on a balcony terrace outside. The forest view room has its own... more

Unique B&B in a beautiful setting. Very quiet and peaceful. The room was charming and comfortable--like staying in a really nice treehouse with a hot tub and wifi access. We felt like we were welcome visitors in someone's home. We awakened to the aroma of something wonderful cooking in the kitchen and breakfast did not disappoint--delicious! more

The Blackthorne Inn is a true jem. My husband and I enjoyed our stay immensely. We spent four spectacular nights in this magical tree house B&B. Each morning we were pleasantly surprised by the most wonderful breakfasts imaginable. It was such a treat to have freshly made breakfast each morning before our adventures in Point Reyes National Park. This inn... more

My husband and I truly enjoyed both the staff and the environment that we found at the Blackthorne Inn. The breakfasts were delicious, the rooms immaculate, and the Inn itself a wonder in arcitecture (sp?). We enjoyed the hot tub, the hiking trails all around, and found it quite worth the money for a relaxing, cell phone free, weekend. more

The place is not hard to get to, and the drive from San Francisco is a panorama of the great outdoors. Once there, you are met with the fresh aroma of woodland and sounds of singing birds. Our room was the famous Eagle's nest. I have to say this was the best choice for our honeymoon. The room is very... more

This quiet, secluded and truly magnificent little inn made our recent family fourth of july weekend one to remember forever. As soon as you set foot on the property you feel as if you're in another world. Though the pictures on their website are helpful, I have to say that the inn is actually much more beautiful in person. Things... more

When I asked my husband what he wanted to do for his 60th birthday, he said "let's go hiking in Point Reyes" (National Seashore Park). When I started looking for places to stay, I saw the Blackthorn Inn on the Internet and knew I had found our place! Luckily they had an opening so I booked it for our 3-day... more
