I rented two rooms, one pool side with a small kitchen, wood burning stove and nice patio, very roomy for my two adult sons. My own room was lovely, with a wet bar, fireplace, deck right on the bay. We brought our mountain bikes and biked close by ( many trails to choose from). during the day, then in the... More

I've stayed in this resort a few times before. It's very conveniently located on Sir Francis Drake Blvd on the way into Pt Reyes National Park. I've stayed in a different type of room each time. This time I stayed in a 2 bedroom/kitchenette with a friend. It's called "poolside room". The building is definitely older, with new windows. There... More

This was a great location for our trip to Point Reyes. It was convenient and right on the bay. The rooms weren't fancy but very functional. The resort is dated but still charming in it's own way. WE would stay there again

Very pleased with our stay here. Accommodations in the area tend to run to funky B&Bs and expensive rental homes. This hotel has a variety of accommodations - I believe the rooms in the separate 2 story building are the best (and priciest) - but we had a lovely room (14) with beautiful views of the bay from oversized windows.The... Nice place to stay in a area we had never visited. We took a trip up to visit the Point Reyes Lighthouse, and decided to stay the night here. Room looked like it had been updated, and the grounds were very well kept. There was even a keurig in the room for our morning coffee. Only stayed one night, but... More

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting point Reyes national seashore and it was very comfortable and well located. Our room was just a few feet from the shore, lovely views, lots of outdoor furniture to sit and enjoy the countryside, and our room exuded comfort. Roomy, nice furnishings, comfortable bed, very clean, couldn't have asked for more. Staff... More

It was clean and had a nice view. An apple and cereal and milk for breakfast. The staff were very nice. It was not fancy, but the stay was pleasant. The hotel was very convenient for visiting Point Reyes (we went to see the elephant seal look out from there and also the Tule Elk.)

We chose Tomales Bay Resort as our first stop after landing in SFO and heading up the coast. It was a nice distance from SF, but close enough to let us take the slow drive up the highway 1. We chose this hotel based on price and location...trying to keep expenses down a bit. And wanted to be close to... More

We were two couples out for a few nights without children. Driving into the parking lot you arrive at what appears to be a dated property...INSIDE THE ROOMS-SURPRISE! Our Rooms (#33 & #34) were EXCEPTIONAL! Two story floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the bay. Fireplace with logs (romantic). Beautiful balcony. Comfy Linens & Fluffy bedding (NO DONT MAKE ME GET OUT OF... More

Stayed here for 4 nights in June 2014, and had a great stay. I had a single Queen "Driftwood" room (#17), and it was perfect for what I needed. I should start by saying that I absolutely love Point Reyes National Seashore, it's my favorite park by far. So when I had the chance to spend a few nights out... More
