Three adults and two rooms, a motel like structure, but the rooms are clean, spacious and very well maintained. The location is ideal being right on the water. The traffic from the road close by closes down by the time you are getting ready to go to bed and is not an issue. There is a feeling that the business... More

We just spent a week driving down the coast from Oregon to San Francisco, and this was one of our favorite stops. We set out to avoid chain motels and the bigger cities (Eureka, Fort Bragg, or San Rafael) where standard lodging choices are found. Instead, we stayed in indy motels (and one B&B). We spent 2 nights at Tomales... More

Stayed here only because we needed a place to stay headed north. Not horrible but it is obvious the prime was 20 years ago. Minimal upkeep of property. Restaurant closed. Breakfast was a bag with juice, milk, cereal, and juice. Don't mean to bash the place, just don't have high expectations and you'll be OK.

It's easy to be dismissive of the Tomales Bay Resort as I was when I first pulled into the parking lot with my wife. At first glance, it looks very much like a motel that has seen better days. But we were greeted by Carolyn at the front desk who was very nice and assured us we had a nice... More

We stayed here two nights and found it the perfect place from which to see the National Seashore and the Tomales Bay area. Our room (#35) with a bay view was very comfortable and clean, and the staff were super friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic....

Quaint, comfortable little bay-side lodging. Perfect for a visit to the Point Reyes National Seashore and surrounding area. Room was clean, beds nice. We stayed in bungalow # 8. Had a sheltered patio in front and a small private deck in back. Separate small bedroom with twin bed. Private little beach and small marina. Good food and shopping in Inverness... More

I stayed here with a friend for three nights in early June. Everything was great. The room was spotless, well appointed, good sized and offered many pretty views. There were chairs and a small table immediately outside the front door too, where you could sit and watch the tides roll in and out of the bay. There were nice small... More

Our cottage was like a small bungalow: separate bedroom, spacious living room with full kitchen, and a large entryway. Unfortunately, the restaurant was up for lease, so we had to go to Point Reyes Station for lunch and dinner. I would have given the 5th star, but there was an obnoxious sign that said there would be a $50 charge... More

Basically, it's not a resort like the name claims; more like a motel in an area with few options. Plus Side: ~Roomy, nice to sit in a living-room setting after a long day of hiking, walking and biking. It's clean and quiet. ~Breakfast is included. You go to the reception area and ask for it. They give it to you... More

I have stayed here multiple times while visiting Point Reyes National Seashore. It is on the water and very close to the visitor center and hiking trails. This is an older building that is freshly painted and spruced up with attractive comforters. The rooms are clean, wifi works well, and the front desk is staffed by exceptionally helpful people. My...
