Stayed here with mom and dog and we were blown away by the attention to detail: prepped kindling ready to be lit in the fireplace; fridge stocked with local fresh ingredients for breakfast; serene deck and Adirondack chairs overlooking the bay; views from every window, deck and balcony of our cottage. Pooch loved the little beach. Wish I'd brought a... More

With hesitation I didn't want to write a review. DCB is paradise found. The views in every direction in the Beach House are amazing. We loved the skylights and big windows. We loved all the different bird activity in the morning while enjoying breakfast. This will become a regular destination place for us.

We had the privilege of staying in two different cottages during our visit. Our first night was in the Acacia and the second night was in the Birch cottage...each with almost identical floor plans. What impressed me most were all of the little nooks for reading, watching the sunrise, contemplating the water, etc. These cottages were built with relaxation and... More

We spent two nights here in mid-October and it was the perfect escape from the city during our trip around the Bay Area. All of the details are taken care of from laying the wood in the fireplace to stocking the refrigerator with fresh ingredients to enjoy a casual but delicious breakfast in this seaside escape. The grounds are well... More

Our stay at Dancing Coyote was fantastic - we extended for an extra day to take in more of the views and ambience! Beautiful cottages and everything had been thought of to make it a relaxing stay - window seats, cute couples love seats on the bay to take in the view and comfortable reading nooks. The breakfast provided was... More

This is a nice location to watch the sunset right on the water. Very calm and inviting, was a very quiet location to relax and unwind with someone special. Next time I'm in the area, I'll stop in for another sunset.

We've passed this place many times on our way to the beaches at Pt. Reyes. I was initially hesitant about staying there because of its proximity to Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Noise from the road turned out not to be a problem for us. After it passes Dancing Coyote Beach Sir Francis Drake Blvd. terminates inside the National Seashore and... More

We chose this lovely abode as a base for our visit to Point Reyes National Seashore. We like to stay in small inns that are well appointed and were not disappointed with our choice. These cottages are attached to each other and overlook Tomales Bay. It is a very natural and beautiful setting. We asked in advance for a cottage... More

This was not a hotel, but a group of cottages. It was just what we were hoping for -- a place to relax and look at the water. If you are looking for refined elegance, you probably wouldn't rate Dancing Coyote as highly as we did. The inside of the cottage is rustic, but it was immaculately kept and we... More

I have stayed at the Dancing Coyote Beach Cottages numerous times, and it never fails to be a relaxing and charming experience. Located on a small private beach in the sleepy town of Inverness, every room has a view, real fireplace, outdoor space and McCroskey mattresses and a full kitchen with breakfast goodies. It's pet friendly so my dog loves... More
