My family and enjoyed this new resort so much! We had 2 wonderful days: My kids liked the gardens, and were even allowed to plant 2 olive trees on their names! We all enjoyed the out doors TV, watching sports and movies with other nice guests. The nice Theresa served us with water, snacks, and even a tasty soup, while... More

We went to "Pine Woods Resort" after we heard from friends that the new owners have brought a Hollywood touch into it, an turning it into a high end resort. We still talk about our romantic weekend there .. When we arrived - we found a luxury gift bag from the owner! What a way to start a vacation! There... More

My wife and kids stayed at the Apple Blossom for a small family getaway from the norm. We had a great hike and loved the small town feel of the area. Our room was perfect and the woman at the front desk was very pleasant.

The management was very friendly and did every thing possible to accommodate us, but the room left much to be be desired. In keeping with the cheap price and friendly management, we didn't object. But you will need to bring your own paper towels and dish towel for the kitchen area and I suggest slippers to wear inside as it... More

The rooms were dusty and had a weird smell. I would recommend for you to spend a few more dollars and get a cabin with a view. We go to Idyllwild to relax and look at trees. When you're in these rooms you feel claustrophobic because there is absolutely no view. Horrible service and Horrible room, never again!! The pictures... More

This is not a 3-star inn, but it is very cheap. You may be quoted a higher price on the phone, but there is a "$69 all rooms" sign in front, and they will honor this deal even for 2-bedroom suites. We stayed in room 13, which is a 2-bedroom suite that sleeps 5 (1 king, 1 queen). The carpet... More

At check in, the lady in the office was frazzled, but friendly. She did let us know she was exhausted and overworked. She "wasn't sure" if she had cleaned our room since she said was in charge of doing everything. The room was ok in parts, but there were crumbs on the counter and stove top, leftover, old food in... Within walking distance of town. Nice rooms. Could use some updating, though. Very friendly staff, especially Katie. Very nice to have a full kitchen when you are away from it all. There are many places to enjoy quiet walks around the area. They have a few movies and games you can borrow, in case you want some "down time".

I spent a weekend trip away from LA. I had never been to Idyllwild and I saw a Livingsocial deal and couldn't resist. I went with two friends of mine. Booked two rooms, 16 &17, they are right next to eachother. Mim checked us in, she is adorable and gives you all of the information you need as a first... More
