We stayed just one night, on the December 23rd. The room was nice, with a separate little bedroom for the kids. It is cozy and perfect for a Christmas getaway. Fireplace, mini fridge and microwave came handy to us. You do need to enter with the idea that the room has a rustic tone to it, and perhaps some minor... More

Just some confusion upon arrival on which cabin I was to stay. The lovely Miss Chris apologized the next day. I brought with me 3 bundles of fire wood for the 2 nites. Cabin # 3 has everything you need, full kitchen. You will need the electric heater the cold air comes into the cabin. Bring your long john's. The... More

We stayed here a couple of nights. Our little cabin was close to the pond where the large tepee is located. This specific area has a charming front that leads up to the rooms. Our room was nice and cozy with a comfortable bed. The room had a small fridge, coffee maker, and a cabinet with plates and utensils. The... More

My husband and I came here to celebrate our wedding unnecessary. And this lodge has provided everything we were looking for.The location is just perfect, the staff is very helpful.I had so many questions: where to eat, where are the walking trails ( even gave us a pass to put in our car window) When we left I left my IPad behind in... The main building for the lodge was originally a theater. The website warns you that the walls are thin, and they weren't kidding! My room was next to the main lobby area for the lodge, and I could hear as people arrived and left. The Town Hall is directly across the street-Jazzercise is held regularly in the morning, and I... Having lived in the area years ago but never staying in town for any reason, I stayed here last week while visiting friends. I was very happy with the accommodations and would definitely stay again. I was in Cabin 9 in the Lodge area. The room had 2 Queen Beds, a separate living area with a fridge and microwave, a... More

When I heard that Silver Pines lodge was totally booked up, I thought that the Village (still available) would just offer "overflow" rooms. Was I ever wrong! Silver Pines Village is a lovely place, and the newest property owned by the proprietors of Silver Pines Lodge and Creekstone Inn. Each room is beautifully decorated with mountain-style furnishings, and lovely patios.... More

What a wonderful, charming little find in the heart of Idyllwild! Quaint and cozy, nestled along the creek and flush against a beautiful mountain vista. As I write this, sitting outside my room, a calming waterfall and coy pond are soothing my soul, washing away the woes of a weary work week. Chris, Dawn and the staff are friendly and... More

From San Diego it is pretty hard to find peace and quiet within 2 hours. This is the place. We came to get away and relax. Our room in the 'Village " portion of the hotel which is just up the street from the Old Lodge was a perfect find. Modern and upgraded it is a short walk back to... More

My wife and I live in San Diego and were looking for a nice place in Idyllwild for short weekend getaway for our anniversary. The folks at Silver Pines Lodge were very helpful in picking the right room. We ended up in "village" unit #2. It was perfect. Comfortable bed, fireplace in the room, nice bathroom and old classic cabin... More
