My girlfriend and I live in San Antonio where we're experiencing a record drought...translate HOT ! So one of the most pleasant things about staying at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach July 2 - 6 was the cool temperature due to the proximity to the Pacific. We slept with the AC off and the balcony sliding glass door open every... more

We arrived on the 3rd of July with our 2 teenagers booking 2 rooms. Although the resort was swamped, the staff was excellent in trying to contain the craziness. Bell staff was pushed to it's limit, yet still managed to get everyone and all of their stuff where it needed to be. The resort also placed special security at check... more

As local Southern Californians, we were looking for a nearby destination where we could have a mini-staycation and feel like we actually went on vacation. We arrived at the Hyatt Huntington Beach Resort & Spa looking for a little R & R and it did not disappoint. Talk about "Wow"! Check in was quick and speedy and we were very... more

Here's my story: I got to the valet station and inquired about the valet prices, suspecting that the prices at a resort near the beach might be higher than what I really wanted to pay. Of course, I wasn't a guest at the hotel; I was there for a wedding rehearsal. The valet attendant looked up the wedding party on... more

My husband and i stayed at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach for 3 nights from 13th June 2009 as part of out 25th Wedding Anniversary trip. I really wish we could have stayed longer. All of the staff we encountered were extremely helpful, happy and couldn't do enough for you. Right through from the front desk staff, to the bell... more

Very nice hotel. Even nicer if you can save the $25 (plus tax and tips) for valet parking. To do this, park in the beach parking lot across the street for $10. When you arrive at the hotel tell the valet that you will be parking at the beach. They really don't mind. They will give you a thing to... more

Glad we decided on this place, great spot, grounds, staff, everything was A+. Not the best place i've ever stayed, Moon Palace in Cancun still has them beat. There wasnt alot of guests staying at the resort which made it really nice for my family and me. We needed a break after our stay at the Grand California in Disneyland... more

Nice hotel if you can get a deal. Otherwise overpriced. Try to get breakfast included. Good location for skateboarding along the beach and for going surfing/boogieboarding. Grounds are beautiful. Some road noise for rooms on ocean side, since the highway is in between. Not really an ocean view, so I would opt for a garden view next time. Parking charges... more

I'm a travel agence owner in Kansas City. I find myself being a little critical when staying at properties that are new to me. This hotel is one of the finest Hyatt properties I've stay at in a long time. From checkin and checkout the staff continued to amaze me. The grounds are magnificent (Did I say I was also... more

My husband and I spent six nights at this hotel. He was at a business meeting elsewhere much of the time. The hotel is located across the Pacific Coast Highway from the beach, which is easily reached by a pedestrian walkway that goes over the highway. Because the PCH is depressed here, you do not see it from the hotel.... more
