We planned a weekend to go to the Gilroy Garlic Festival. Thought we would find a motel close to Gilroy...we new how expeniseve it would be this past weekend. We found this hotel on line and I booked through hotels.com. It cost us $99.99 per night..OMG..Now if you pay $100.00 per night to stay anywhere it better be worth the... More

I attended a wedding in Hollister and needed a place to stay nearby. Selection is limited in Hollister, but the Hollister Inn exceeded expectations. Most inns/motels from this era have very thin walls and staying there is not unlike dormitory life. This one's different. It was quiet and very clean, the A/C is more than adequate, and the staff are... More

I appreciated that they allowed pets and only charged $10 per pet with no non-refundable deposit as many hotels do. The room was a little dingy. It did not have a very clean feeling but I brought my own sheets. No bed-bugs to speak of but carpet and bed felt kind of worn out and icky. There was no stopper... More

We booked this hotel because it is sort of the closest town near the Pinnacles National Park. The inn is run by a very friendly Indian family. They offer european style breakfast and it is free!! However, there is only one table to sit down and eat in front of the counter. Well, you can always take the breakfast to... More

I needed a placed to stay in Hollister for a night - so read the reviews of the few places there are to stay. The other places got terrible reviews - so we plumped for this one. Pleasantly surprised. Clean and tidy and the owners were super helpful. Because Hollister is such a hot and dry place would have been... More

Driving from SF to Las Vegas & found no rooms in Gilroy or Morgan Hill we arrived in Hollister. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The price was very reasonable considering the other cities nearby. Recommend skipping Gilroy etc. & stay ther.

We ended up here quite by accident, when the hotel down the street we had stayed at previously was full and we were delighted that we did. The management was really friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, with a brand new flat screen TV. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever found in a... More

On a recent trip to The Pinnacles National Monument we spent the night at the Hollister Inn and were very pleased with the transformation of the establishment. On previous trips we thought it was O.K. at best but this time we were surprised that it had been re-done, inside and out. New paint, new rugs, new flat screen TV, new... More

This is a very basic cheap motel. On the plus side: the bed was fine, the heater worked, the manager was nice enough and it was relatively quiet. On the negative side: the bathroom was in need of refurbishing with moldy grout; the TV reception was snowy (like an old antenna); the coffee maker didn't work right (and they gave... More

We booked a room way in advance for the MC Rally at the reg. rate. Hollister Inn sold our reserved room at a higher (rate) and cancelled our reservation. Better check to make sure your reservation is good before going to Hollister Inn. They don't honor reservations if they think they can get a highter rate for a room.
