This was my second stay at the Hermosa Beach House Hotel and it was wonderful again. Besides being a great hotel for many reasons, one of the best things about this hotel is location, location, location. The beach, the pier, shopping, night-life, restaurants, sports bars, liquor stores, are all within very short walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful.... more

Nice rooms, definitely on the beach. However I got a "partial ocean view" room for $300+ from Travelocity, and calling this a partial view is extremely misleading. Room is on the first floor facing the street -- if I were to lean into the far corner of the room and squint, I still wouldn't be able to see the water.... more

This hotel was perfect for us. The room was clean and very attractive. The only thing about the place that wasn't perfect was that the sofa bed was not comfortable for the two teenage boys.
