This is a boutique hotel right on the beach in Hermosa, and I truly enjoyed it! My parents, sister, and husband and I stayed here for 5 perfect sunny days and were sad to leave. The rate is high compared to what you can get for a similar price at a hipper, more central spot but it was perfect for... more

This hotel was perfect for us. The room was clean and very attractive. The only thing about the place that wasn't perfect was that the sofa bed was not comfortable for the two teenage boys. We splurged and chose an ocean front room on the upper floor. While in the room everyone enjoyed spending time watching volleyball games and board... more

Just stayed at this cute hotel for three nights of business. I typically do not look forward to long business trips but now I can't wait to go back! The hotel is a relaxed sleeper on the beach. The modernly appointed suites are very clean, comfortable with large bathrooms, two flat screens and a working cozy fireplace. They have decent... more

Mid-March is not the most popular time for a LA beach vacation in a recession, so I got a spacious, well-appointed, beach front room (first floor) for a reasonable rate when I showed up at 5 pm w/o a reservation. The room, location and service were a delight. It's not clear that I would be as excited about Beach House... more

Have stayed at this hotel, and sister property in Half Moon Bay in the past. Asked not to be in a room by elevator, was placed 3 doors from elevator. Placed in a handicapped room with small queen bed, not given option for another room, very small, booked room for king bed with ocean view. Rowdy guests coming in at... more

When visiting this part of California I usually stay in Santa Monica. For a change I decided to stay at the Beach House. Firstly, be careful about their room descriptions, if you want to see the ocean from your room you have to pay the top price. My room was described as 'Partial View' and I assumed this meant 'Part... more

What an ideal spot for an easy getaway. No car needed, walk to great dining and bars. Ride a bike for miles down the strand and walk forever along the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. GREAT trip! more

I have stayed at this hotel twice and loved it each time. It is a little pricy, but it is worth it if you can afford it. The rooms are clean and full of awesome amnenities. I like to get away and take mini vacations around southern california, and this is the only one that I have been to that... more
