I just returned from an excellent three night stay at the Hotel Hermosa and am very happy to recommend it. Walkable distance to the ocean, clean and nicely appointed rooms, comfortable beds, serviceable breakfast (good coffee) available until 9:30, parking, and a very helpful staff. Will definitely return when I'm back in LA next month. more

I have stayed at this friendly hotel several times. The rooms are very nice, the price is very reasonable. And they have the most comfortable mattresses that I have ever slept on in a very long lifetime. more

hotel is near beach area nightlife. clerk was friendly, gave good directions. we were traveling by motorcycle and underground parking was convienent. room was an incredible bargain for the price. will stay again! more

cookie (50+yrs old) insulted 2 guests (17 yrs and 18 yrs old girls) by telling them they had no morals and weren't raised properly and wouldn't give the deposit back - nothing was wrong with the room and these girls did not provoke the attack . mr. chang of Pasadena, the owner, shame on you for allowing this to happen... more

I want to thank the entire staff at Hotel Hermosa for our wonderful two night stay. My family stayed for the two nights because of a funeral in Hermosa Beech area. The rooms were very clean with unbeleavable beds and bedding. I had a wonderfull night sleep. Where the "Wow" comes in is the little things that I didn't expect.... more
