I stayed at this hotel on and off for about two years with work, including over extended periods (three months at one stage). Pool and gym are functional but fine, rooms are big, spacious. Breakfasts are good, with very nice cinnamon rolls. Staff very friendly. Very close to Hermosa and Redondo and the Pacific. Hopefully next time I'll be visiting... more

We absolutely hated this hotel. The surrounding area was great, but the hotel was just not in a good place. The staff could not have been worse. They were rude and very unhelpful. The rooms all have fridge & microwave. Holiday Inn Express, Pacific Coast Highway, Hermosa Beach. The unique location of this more than adequate hotel is actually closer to the Redondo Beach Pier area than Hermosa Pier. We found our executive room very clean and inviting, complete with mini fridge, microwave and couch. We chose to stay here on arrival at LAX from the Uk - about 20 minutes from the Car Rental area at LAX. Very welcoming and helpful reception staff, happy to put 2 rollaways into our huge room, with massive jacuzzi bath AND shower. Staff know all about local facilities, shops etc. So much more peaceful than hotels at LAX... more
