A group I work with booked me at this hotel. It was so bad, I checked out at 11 p.m and paid my own hotel expense (almost double) across the street at the Hampton Inn.

The room -- a non-smoking room with an ashtray -- stunk. The pipes made constant noise (a complaint I heard from one of my colleagues even before I got to my room).

When I checked out, the front desk guy tried to convince me to stay. He confessed that the row of rooms where I was booked had previously received the same complaints I was reporting. However, because of so many cancellations, he could now book me in a room that wouldn't have these issues. He also told me that the ashtray in the non-smoking room was so that people could smoke outside. HA. That is clearly not working.

Anyway -- go across the street and get a good nights sleep. more
