Stumbled on this place for a late lunch while exploring the area and we were all impressed by the quality of the food, portions and general service. Despite being day guests all the staff were obliging and friendly (as only NQ can be!!) and we had a great time on the beach - which was round the corner from the... More

Our group of four had lunch here on a day trip to the Cape Gloucester, Dingo Beach and Hydeaway Bay and Bowen area. The weather was great and we went in for a swim in the Bay, then walked along to this resort for lunch. Burgers, fish & chips were delicious, along with my pina colada. This looks like a... More

We recently spent 3 nights at the Cape Gloucester Eco Resort, along with 30 friends (the resort can only accommodate a maximum of 42), for a friends 50th birthday. The resort is absolutely beach front, with a choice of cabin or motel style accommodation. The outlook over the ocean and islands, with the boats moored off shore, was the stuff... More

We are currently sailing north on our Yacht and decided to take a mooring at Cape Gloucester Eco-Resort. The moorings are only $ 25 but are free if you buy dinner, an offer we couldn't refuse. After a couple of drinks at the great bar and a dip in the pool which has an amazing view we returned for dinner.... More

Stumbled across this little gem while filling in day before heading to Proserpine to catch the plane. Fantastic views to take in while sitting at any number of picnic tables around the idealic grounds having a fantastic lunch and a couple of beverages. A band playedcfrom 1pm on Sunday which provided great entertainment. Wish I could have stayed. While I... More

We are locals but have travelled extensively overseas and Australia and are extremely chuffed to say our local areas, including Cape Gloucester equal to the most famous locations anywhere. Mothers Day Lunch, one week ago was superb. The Staff.....over and beyond normal hospitality. Only complaint was the loud music which was not to my taste though so maybe the other... More
