Having recently gotten married at The Eco resort I can 100% say that it is wedding destination perfection! The staff (led by Julie) Were helpful, understanding of what we wanted and also full of ideas .....great since we never planned a wedding before!) Our guests all booked into the accommodation for 3+ nights and loved it! The motel rooms and... More

Brilliant beaches just outside the door. Perfect weather during the dry season. If you are just looking for a holiday based on scenery, relaxation and beaches the place is great. Suicidal fish off the beach add to the attraction.

Stayed here 3 nights in Aug 2014 for a wedding.. Great location, you can be 100% self sufficient in the cabin or visit the bistro for a sensational feed. Nicely located just far away from it all, quite beach, lawns, and a pool, plenty of flora and fauna for the kids to look at-you will get visited by the bush... More

Perfect location. Excellent food. Friendly service. What more do you want? Salt and pepper calamari really was melt in your mouth and probably some of the best I have ever had. This place s definitely worth a visit and next time I plan on staying a little longer than just lunch.

Stumbled on this place for a late lunch while exploring the area and we were all impressed by the quality of the food, portions and general service. Despite being day guests all the staff were obliging and friendly (as only NQ can be!!) and we had a great time on the beach - which was round the corner from the... More

Our group of four had lunch here on a day trip to the Cape Gloucester, Dingo Beach and Hydeaway Bay and Bowen area. The weather was great and we went in for a swim in the Bay, then walked along to this resort for lunch. Burgers, fish & chips were delicious, along with my pina colada. This looks like a... More

If you do nothing else but sit on the beach and take in the magnificent view, you should walk away a happy camper, so to speak. My husband and I felt we were on a tropical Island far far away. We are going back to stay longer. The food may not have been of the highest quality, it was good... More

We recently spent 3 nights at the Cape Gloucester Eco Resort, along with 30 friends (the resort can only accommodate a maximum of 42), for a friends 50th birthday. The resort is absolutely beach front, with a choice of cabin or motel style accommodation. The outlook over the ocean and islands, with the boats moored off shore, was the stuff... More
