We loved the peaceful room at the Madrona and the awesome staff. The bartender was amazing and took great care with her mixology during the evening. The cocktail were truly made with love and care. The flowers were absolutely beautiful on the grounds and the view from the check in desk was just lovely. Everyone on the staff was very... More

I spent 3 nights at Madrona Manor this August. This is a lovely property for those who want to unwind and unplug. The property is gorgeous, with a beautiful pool and garden, including the herbs that are used in the restaurant. The restaurant is fantastic and we loved our multi-course meal, although I thought that the wine pairing at $58... More

My wife and I made our second trip to Madrona Manor earlier this month. If you are looking for a spa with all the amenities, this is probably not for you. Madrona Manor is an escape from the world. No flat screen tv, the decor and bathroom fixtures are out of the 1950's, no room service (they do have wifi).... More

My husband and I recently stayed for three nights in the carriage house at Madrona Manor. The setting, high on a hill above Healdsburg, is very attractive with beautifully tended roses, orange trees and other lovely gardens. I enjoyed strolling around the property. My favorite activity was relaxing on our large balcony on those July evenings with the accompaniment of... More

A Beautiful old manor house kept mostly in it's original glory with the charm of an old French country inn. The grounds are expertly maintained, lush and colorful. The staff could not be any friendlier or helpful. All with "Great Attitudes". We stayed in the school house suite which is very private and cozy, and had dinner on the premise.... More

We had booked Madrona Manor for our time in Healdsburg- but during our travel in California heard the term "dated décor" applied. Yes, it was from a different era, and yes, not our usual style, but so comfortable and warm that we truly did not feel we were "away from home". Two home baked chocolate chip cookies and two bottles... More

This is a luxury resort property yet still maintains the charm of an old inn about one mile from downtown Healdsburg. The staff could not be any friendlier or helpful. Great attitudes. The grounds are expertly maintained and lush and colorful. Very convenient to downtown and all the great wineries in Sonoma. The breakfasts were great and plentiful (I would... More

Beautiful old manor house kept mostly in it's original glory. Sure the bathrooms are a tad dated but the rest of the decor and ambiance more than makes up for this minor shortcoming. And then there is the restaurant. With one Michelin star already and well on their way to their second, it is a can't miss meal for anyone... More

Secluded setting just outside Healdsburg, CA. Very quiet setting offers total relaxation with no television but free wi-fi available. Elegant yet comfortable antique furnishings. Deluxe continental breakfast with fresh fruit, huge variety of breads and rolls, meats and cheeses, hot casseroles, juices, and coffee. Gorgeous gardens filled with flowers, vegetables, herbs, and all kinds of plants made the grounds delightful... More

The grounds are beautiful and beautifully manicured with charming paths through the vegetable gardens dotted with benches. We really enjoyed the flowers -- the large arrangements in the lobby areas were stunning. The main house faces beautiful views of vineyards and hills to the east, and the front porch with white wicker is an ideal place to enjoy them. The... More
