The nicest B&B we have ever experienced. Beautiful architecture and gardens. The grounds are magnificent, the bed was super-comfortable, everything was right where it should be - reading lamps, good bathroom amenities, etc. The restaurant is a food fantasy and we have never had better coffee! I often have to leave a hotel or B&B to get coffee elsewhere in... More

Let me start my saying we are not sure if we will stay again. That's not because it wasn't nice but because it wasn't especially nice. First off, it is a big, busy place with more rooms and business-related property than I imagined. Geared seemingly for large groups and special occasions with dining at the Manor. The manor itself and... More

My wife and I just finished five nights at Madrona Manor. We will be back. The building, the grounds, the peacefulness is all wonderful. We stayed in room #203 for three nights. This is a perfect room in the mansion with a balcony that overlooks the Dry Creek Valley. It's one of only two rooms that has a view like... More

This is a great get-away hotel in Sonoma. Definitely not for kids - it is geared toward couples. Very nice accommodations and beautiful grounds. The only thing I would suggest is that they should offer complimentary wine tastings in the afternoon. they have the perfect set-up for it, and after all, they are in the heart of wine country. The... More

Upon our arrival we were happily greeted with open arms! Supplied with the room key and location, with directions for the best parking to access its location! We decided we required a more secluded accommodations with an outside area to accomidate our special needs! With ease we given a upgrade at a very reasonable cost and we were quit satisfied.... We have stayed here a number of times over the past 26 years. The gardens and Dry Creek Valley setting is idyllic. The rooms are comfortable, the pool is restful and uncrowded, and the dinner at the manor's restaurant is among the very best in Napa and Sonoma counties. We plan to continue at least an annual stay at the... More

Madrona Manor is a lovely, charming, upscale bed and breakfast. Accommodations are found in many buildings throughout the property including the main house. Seniors and those with mobility issues need to be careful about which room will be appropriate. Most of the rooms in the main house are accessed by stairs. Many of the rooms have slipper tubs. There is... More

When the Madrona Manor first opened as an elegant bed and breakfast offering first class dinners, my husband and I booked a romantic anniversary weekend that was truly memorable. A quarter century later we returned with friends to celebrate more milestones. Built in 1881, this spectacular estate has expanded offering 22 guest rooms and suites all with luxurious bathrooms with... More

This inn is amazing. Beautiful accommodations with lots of antiques. The breakfast was first class and the restaurant sounds amazing so I hope to try it next time. The grounds are meticulous and be sure to check out the chef's garden in the back. We found the pool area to be very relaxing with a good book.

A gorgeous place to see in Sonoma. We were guests in the Mansion 2nd floor. Quiet and relaxing. The idea of no television in the room was a welcomed concept! A spacious room, with full bath and amenities; however, true to Victorian style, lighting is not very good in the rooms. Restaurant is amazing. We enjoyed the Grande dame with... More
