Once an opulent home for a lumber baron Madrona Manor is now an elegant get away close to Healdsburg. We had the cottage. It could serve as a perfect headquarters if you had a big group or a private, romantic, peaceful home with its own parking space. The cottage is close to their beautiful garden where many varieties of flowers,... More

Our second visit to Madrona Manor but our first stay. We were not disappointed. As before, we had a great birthday dinner...allow at least 3 hours for the 10 course dinner as many additional tastes before, during and after those. Although very convenient to town it is a bit off the main highway so is quiet. All the staff were... More

We visited Madrona Manor and restaurant for my birthday. It was a delightful experience. Chilled Champaign greeted us in the room. A large outdoor balcony overlooked extensive well kept gardens. The Michelin one star restaurant served a choice of two menus. We had the smaller six course menu with fifteen amuse bouche servings in between.

The property is beautiful and beautifully maintained. The room was cozy and comfortable. The only thing we missed was a TV set, but we managed and slept better without it. It's close to town, and if you have time, going for a morning run amongst the vineyards is a added plus.

Unfortunately I did not stay at the mansion this time around, but wanted to bring my Mom to see this aged beauty. The Manor is just as I remember it and the grounds were simply beautiful. The front desk personnel were very kind in allowing us to just look around.

We spent our 50th wedding anniversary at the Manor and liked it very much. The dinner "Grand Dame" was exquisite and so were the accomodations. The grounds are kept beautifully and we enjoyed exploring the Herb Gardens. We can't think of a better place to spend this special occasion. Unfortunately the breakfast was quite disappointing for a place of this... More

What a lovely, relaxing, beautiful place. Beautiful room in old house - with balcony overlooking valley and mountains. Really wonderful gardens all around - from roses to hydrangeas. Helpful staff. Great swimming pool shaded by the lovely gardens. About a mile from downtown Healdsburg. Go there and relax!

My husband and I spent two nights at this beautiful place. We were In the area for a wedding. Most of the other guests stayed at a chain hotel, and when a few of them stopped by to see us, their faces turned as green with envy the manicured lawns of this historic inn. The property is meticulously maintained, the... More

This is a wonderful place to stay. Although all rooms are unique with special amenities ( jetted tubs, pvt decks, etc) we chose Rm 203. This room along with Rm 204 are in the manor and provide fireplace, dbl doors to large deck with a gorgeous view of hiilside mountains and vineyards. Both rooms are quite large and very quiet,... I took my wife up to Healdsburg for an overnight (Saturday) for her birthday and we stayed at Madrona last minute. The location is great just outside of Healdsburg up on a hill overlooking vineyards with an amazing flower garden and vegetable garden in the back that we were told we could pick. Our room on the 2nd floor of... More
