This was our second stay at the Madrona Manor. It's a well maintained, beautiful Victorian Mansion on impeccable grounds. The location is perfect, within a mile of downtown Healdsburg and on key roads to great wineries. The hilltop location is magnificent. The front desk is only open from 8a-5p, which restricts service beyond those hours. Getting coffee before 7a won't... More

Spent a wonderful 5 days biking to the local wineries with a great spot to return to and relax at. Especially enjoyed watching the sunrise over the vineyard in front of us. Enjoyed the outdoor pool, the tasty breakfast and was wow'ed by the finale; dinner at the restaurant. Memorable stay, amazing dinner. (The 8-5 service, repetative breakfast, and inability... More

Front desk is only open from 8 to 5, staff is friendly, but for the price I expected more. Seems it's a restaurant first and hotel second, breakfast while included is limited and only one hot option is offered.

Just not a good place for service that matches the price. Wedding party booked the entire restaurant. Ok but that included the bar. Which meant they would not serve hotel guests a cocktail. How could a hotel not know how to handle this situation. Need better management.

I stayed at the inn the first week of March with my cousin. We found the hotel to be very quiet with very nice staff and beautiful gardens. We also enjoyed the "Grand Dame" dinner menu. It made our stay very special and the servers were friendly and did a wonderful job. The selections of Grappa were especially remarkable and... More

Absolutely beautiful property. there are many different kinds of rooms to choose from. I stayed in the main house in room 204 and loved it. I didn't even want to get out of the most comfortable bed ever. I felt like I was sleeping on pillows of clouds. in the morning, I opened up my two french doors onto mown... More

We spent two nights here in the main house. The room was spacious and charming. The bed was very comfortable. Beautiful grounds. The dinner was over the top amazing. Every course was inventive and perfectly prepared. Pricey, but we knew that going in, and it was worth it. The breakfasts were delicious, with home made breads, fruit, eggs, meats etc.... More

We were heading up to wine country for a wedding but came a few days earlier to get some R&R in. A good friend suggested this place and we were very happy he did. We stayed for 3 days at the Madrona Manor. Splendid B&B, impeccably kept and stunning architectural history. We lodged in the School House Suite which was... More

We spent a delightful weekend in the Gatehouse. The location is convenient to Healdsburg and numerous wineries, the rooms are comfortable, and the grounds are beautiful and quiet. We particularly enjoyed the creative evening cocktails prepared by the staff mixologist, Pam Bushling.

The prix fixe menu was not of the same quality we've had here in the past so we were disappointed. Although the presentation of foods was somewhat creative, nothing was especially inspiring except dessert. Would prefer to have had slightly larger servings of some menu items rather than so many tiny tastes of the chef's creations in between courses. The... More
