Don't get me wrong--I do like kids. Have a few myself. It's just that I don't want to be around little ones when I'm staying at an expensive B & B in wine country. The Camellia Inn is nice although it's getting a little tired in places and our bathroom could have used a more attentive cleaning. I feel guilty... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience on your recent visit to Camellia Inn. I know exactly when you were here and what happened. This situation was exacerbated when the guests invited their friends with additional kids to stop by! We have always welcomed children and normally have only 1 or 2 at a time... More

The Camellia is a great old victorian house within a two minute walk to the plaza. The hosts were very nice, cheerful, and helpful, but let us to ourselves too. It's a great blend of small hotel/B&B style lodging. The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and the bed was very cozy. iPads are in every room for... More

Literally steps from the heart of downtown Healdsburg, the Camellia Inn was well appointed, tucked away, even quiet. A combination of chocolate and wine are central to the daily amenities. And the room comfort was top notch. Looking forward to another visit.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip and we couldn't have picked a better place. First of all, you are in a great location in Healdsburg which is not as crowded with tourist - as say, Napa. The city is very charming and is incredibly close to many vineyards. The B&B is crawling distance to many shops and... More

2 blocks off town center and close to excellent restaurants, shops and tasting rooms. Very attractive inside and out, comfortable and elegant. Lucy is an awesome host and was very helpful in selecting daily activities. Great breakfasts, afternoon wine tastings and nightly cookies. If you like to be pampered, this is the place for you!!!!

Our first trip to wine country and we were not disappointed! The hotel was lovely and intimate. Lucy and her staff made us feel like family, breakfasts were yummy and if we had any tastebuds left after wine tasting all day - there was wine and cheese in the afternoon!!! Also centrally located to the square and restaurants. Will definitely... More

My husband and I stayed only one night at Camellia Inn just this past weekend. We wish we could have stayed longer. It was so lovely! Impeccably clean and well maintained. Every detail is attended to. Lucy and her staff are so hospitable. We really enjoyed her friendliness and wise recommendations. The wine and cheese was delightful and we met... More

In addition to the warm and comfortable environment, the wine and cheese at 5:00 and the yummy breakfast ---- this place is located in a wonderful spot! Walking distance to all of the Healdsburg Square restaurants and shops! As well, it is very centrally located to the wineries. Highly recommend this place and will stay here again!

This is without doubt the best place to stay if you love old houses with tall ceilings and antique furniture. Innkeeper, Lucy, was extremely helpful as this was our first visit to wine country. The breakfasts were great and, if you feel like meeting the other guests, wine tasting is at 5-6.30. The Inn is 5 to 10 minutes from... More

We recently visited Healdsburg, CA and stayed at the lovely Camellia Inn. The house is extremely welcoming and comfortable. Our host and owner Lucy, goes out of her way to make your stay memorable. Her breakfasts are wonderful and if you are there on a Wednesday, you will be treated with surprise chocolate treats. There is always someone available on... More
