Les Mars is our favorite small hotel in the world. No where will you find the excellent service, attention to detail, luxurious rooms, complete relaxation that compares to Les Mars! We have stayed there many times over the last three years, each and every time we are delighted and surprised to find such consistantly excellent service. The rooms are beautifully... more

Stayed one night in February 2009 at Les Mars. Only 16 rooms. Had estate room which was spacious, elegant, quiet. Entire hotel has very high quality period furnishings. Nice artificial fireplace. Large bath with separate shower. Very nice continental breakfast served in room. One block from central plaza. A really nice place to stay if price is not a concern. more

What a beautiful hotel with impressive service from everyone from the general manager to the concierge and front desk to the housekeepers. ! I'd stayed here three years ago, and wondered if it was still as wonderful. It was ! Tasteful antiques, marvelously comfortable beds, soundproofed rooms, lovely marble bathrooms with big showers, jacuzzi tubs and a multitude of amenities...... more

My recent visiti to Healdsburg turned out to be a wonderful trip due to a great experience at Les Mars Hotel. I arrived at 9pm to discover I had forgotten my laptop that I needed for a meeting the next day. I mentioned this oversight to the young lady at the desk, and without hesitation she calmly replied, "not a... more

This uber-luxe hotel is so not northern California. It is so L.A. That said, it IS quite a treat to sink into a luxurious Relais et Chateaux. You know the staff will be devoted to your comfort, the room will be lavish and full of fancy amenities and the bed will be all downy with silky smooth sheets. Here you... more

My partner and I just returned from a 3 night stay at the Les Mars Hotel, staying in a Grand King room on the 3rd floor. We have stayed at various Four Seasons and Ritz Carleton, and St. Regis properties, as well as boutique places like Las Ventanas in Cabo San Lucas, Singita in South Africa, etc, and usually stay... more

Certainly not cheap but infinitely worth it; Les Mars is our home away from home when we're in Sonoma. I encourage everyone to come early and often. more

My husband and I never think a hotel is perfect. We just spent a weekend at Les Mars hotel and it was perfect. We booked a Salon room on the third floor, which has soaring ceilings and a gas fireplace. The room was beautifully decorated with a bottle of chilled chardonnay waiting for us. But what really impressed us was... more
