There was initially a little problem with our room and they fixed it promptly and bent over backwards to make it up to us. Friendly family owners, cute rooms, nice plantings, delicious baked goods for breakfast. more
Having had a bad experience at a previous stay at the travel Lodge we looked for reasonable priced lodging close to downtown. On my first call I suspicioned that the owner was overselling but finding everything else either too high or not up to standards, my wife suggested we try L&M anyway. If you are looking for a decent place to stay for a reasonable price the L&M Motel is perfect. It is family owned and run and it shows. They take pride in their property. This is an older motor lodge style motel but its been kept up and is VERY CLEAN and sweet. There are nice flowers and nice landscaping... more
The L & M Motel is definitely one of the best family owned motels in the country. My wife and I frequently spend four to six weeks each year on the road seeing our great country and prefer to stay at the smaller motels. We found the L & M by accident,when we exited too soon, but have no regrets.... more

The culinary capital Healdsburg is a very pricy town, where hotels can easily run into the hundreds of dollars. So the L & M, which cost us $129 plus tax, is a big relief. Amidst the high prices of the wine country, the L&M was able to save me the price of a couple of bottles of wine. Old school motel, very clean and convenient to town. more
We got really lucky finding this motel. This motel is owner/operated and the pride they take in their property shows. Our room was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. They also have and indoor pool and jaccuzi with a dressing area and vending available. For a quiet respite at a reasonable price, this is the place to go. more
