This charming inn is very convenient to the SFO aiport and a very beautilful drive away from San Francisco. The rooms are very comfortable and the inn is well run. I began staying there as an alternative to the high-priced Marriots in Frisco. I have been there many times and still love it. Also, there is a terrific Italian restaurant... More

First the good - it is very clean and the beds are comfortable. It is quaint and the rooms have a certain eclectic charm, particularly in the decor. The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful... Clearly the hotel, being on Main St, is a close walk to various restaurants and shops and easy access to get onto... More

My husband and I stayed at this well-appointed in on our way from Mendocino to Carmel. We were only there for one night, so we weren't too concerned with a luxurious long stay, but a nice, clean quiet bed to rest our heads. The room was an excellent price at $140, which included a welcoming glass of wine, a beautifully... More

Half Moon Bay Inn was a treat for us. I had no idea how lovely it would be when I booked it. Bedroom was quaint with fine linens, wicker and shutters. Loved the white, mirrored dresser. Kitchenette with microwave, little frig and table was perfect. Bathroom worked for us but the shower is exceedingly small. There is a small restaurant... More

Was pleasantly surprised by this quaint and cozy inn! We stayed two nights, but I wish we could have stayed longer. The Inn has an excellent downtown location, close to restaurants and shops. Pasta Moon was a one minute walk and was delicious! The room was extremely clean and tastefully decorated. We stayed in the Piccola Stanza room and it... More

Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Half Moon Bay. My husband, our goldendoodle, Daisy May and I have the pleasure of staying here many times. The owner Jamie is very kind and has done a wonderful job decorating this place. The rooms are small and if you face the street you will hear cars driving by, but not... More

We found the Half Moon Bay Inn through Trip advisor as it was the highest rated in the category/location we were interested in. We were walk-ins for a two night stay the week after the region had suffered evident disruption from the Japanese Tsunami, so I think they were glad to see visitors back. In any event, we received a... More

This my 2nd stay at The Half Moon Bay Inn and it was just as nice as the first one. I enjoy its location in Old Town and adjacent to a wonderful restaurant and bar. After several hundred miles driving, it is great to be able to park the car, walk 50 feet to check in, drop the over-night bag... More

The Half Moon Bay Inn is a luxurious hotel in a historic Spanish style building. The location couldn't be more convenient for exploring the charming Main Street in Half Moon Bay, the beaches, golf and all the things there are to do on the Coast. The service and amenities are what make staying here so special. They paid attention to... More

We were lucky to find this place as we'd driven up the coast from Monterey on a Saturday and everywhere en route seemed to be booked up. We saw it from the road and it looked nice, so I went to enquire at the small front desk next to the Italian restaurant. There was a note to say that guests... More
