We were a little scared by the outside but when we entered our room we were taken away. Absolutely beautiful inside. Clean and inviting. We had our own private balcony and the owner left us a gift card to local brewery that was delicious. What a wonderful way to let stress leave and just relax. I cannot wait to go... More

Beautiful Clean rooms. We walked around barefoot and took baths in the bathtub! That says A LOT for Cleanliness. FAB view of the bay. Walking distance to everything. There was no "unwinding" needed here. WalK in room. Set down luggage. Walk out to balcony. Chill.

My review is based on some years ago but I still think of this place and often dream of coming back. A wonderful place, beautiful and comfortable accommodation, friendly and helpful service and lovely breakfast wrapped in a linen hamper in the morning. I sat out on those little patios in the sun and watched the sea and it was... More

This place is perfect for people looking to travel with their dogs. The bottom floor rooms with patios offer more than enough space for your dogs to do their "business". The rooms and bathroom offer top notch, 4+ star amenities. There was a beach and many restaurants within walking distance.........just perfect! We will be back. Stayed in the Flat Rock... More

I've been reading other responses to the Inn and I think the thing they did not like is what I absolutely thought was perfect! It is so serene and relaxing, exactly what we wanted and needed. We stayed there from the 11th to the 12th of March for our anniversary and couldn't of been happier. The room was gorgeous with... More

My hubby and I chilled out here after a hectic schedule for our wedding in Las Vegas. The room was warm and cozy when we arrived late at night. I had my credit card defrauded prior to our arrival and Alan was very understanding and our room was still waiting for us. We spent four lovely days in HMB, fell... More

This is a gem for peace and tranquility! Stunning oceanfront room with special amenities - great nearby restaurants. The bed is the best ever at any hotel chain I have ever stayed at. Very spacious and very clean!

The minute we walked in the door we experienced the "wow" factor. What a view from the 2nd floor Montara suite. Loved all the small details and amenities in the room. The bathroom was so big and really enjoyed the large oversize tub/shower. We enjoyed walking to breakfast, dinner and Mavericks state beach. We can truly say our stay was... More

We were disappointed with the "Inn at Mavericks". Pros- the room was as promised and the views were great. Easy to walk to some restaurants. Cons- Don't think you are staying at an inn; or that there is any customer service, security, or anyone to talk to about your stay or things to do. Matter of fact you could be... More

My fiancé and I spent one night at this place...like almost everyone else we had a great time. The fog horn was slightly annoying at first (during the afternoon when we got there) however, we quickly tuned it out; at night however, we slept with the door open to hear the sound of the waves. I am a light sleeper... More
