how is this place NOT ranked #1 on tripadvisor? artfully chosen bed products and linens (coyuchi), delicious locally-sourced breakfast, warm staff, bicycles for your enjoyment, and a great pool and jacuzzi. it's a thoughtfully redone property, with great choices made on design and experience. the location is fantastic; it's within close distance of both the main drag and armstrong national... We found this place through a TravelZoo deal. We didn't know much about the area beforehand, but we had some wine tasting to do in northern Sonoma so it was well-situated. You have to ignore the neighborhood, really. It's a bit Appalachian. But driving into Boon is like entering an oasis, a walled city, a gated community. Everything is calm,... More

We booked this little gem sight unseen and I believe we hit the hotel lotto. Reality shifted from the moment we walked through Boon's candlelit passageway into their sparkling courtyard under the stars. Suddenly you're feeling 1000 miles away from strip malls, fast food, and the ceaseless noise of city life. Our room (#12) was modern, sparsely furnished, and completely... More

Had so much fun here! My dog Betty loved this place too! They have really cool grounds with wide open grass field and also large park like sitting area that leads to a trail to the redwoods at the back of the property. Perfect place to have a glass of wine at the end of the day. We used all... More

I found myself unexpectedly having to stay over in Guerneville when bringing a classic car for restoration in nearby Cazadero. Boon turned out to be an excellent place to stay. I love most things MCM so bery much liked the simple and comfortable aesthetic of the room: cork flooring, Nelson bubble lamps and a very comfortable bed. The relaxed, friendly,... More

We had a blast over new years at the Boon hotel + spa. It was the perfect combination of feeling pampered but un-fussed over. The room or "bungalow" was cozy with a beautiful big bed, wood burning stove and a stocked fridge with local wine and artisanal snacks. The hot tub was very hot and always on. Breakfasts were awesome... More

Much thought went into the renovation of this unique property. The linens and furnishings help cultivate an ambiance of relaxation while the kind attention of staff, especially Teddy, make you feel like an honored guest. If you are looking for cheap, you will have to travel to Santa Rosa to find La Quinta or Motel 6. If you are looking... More

Clean and neat, if you don't mind paying five star hotel rates for remodeled 1950's motel. Really, this is a cleaned up version of cheap construction. Would recommend this to anyone if the rates were in the $80 to $100 a night......TOPS! My fault for not confirming the outrageous rates, and this was in off season. Shame on the management... More

What can we say? We love upscale yet quaint places with character. We were personally greeted by Teddy who is absolutely amazing and brings a beautiful breakfast to your cottage by the way. The rooms are clean and relaxing. The tv's are small, yes, but I find it hysterical that people use that as an excuse for a negative review.... More

I didn't stay at this hotel but would have except I really needed a spa day so I chose a cheaper place and was then able to get the Body Bliss combo here. Anyway that said, the property is in a great location and I really like this sort of rustic modern feel so I would stay here. I was... More
